Lizzy Borden
Posted by Tom Fones on 13/08/2020 at 15:25Should we now refer to Lisa as “Lizzy Borden of Liverpool” ?
Since she has been caught red-handed and practically confessed.
Just asking.

Thomas, how about Leeza Addams? You know Wednesday from the Addams family. Have you seen that Halloween video to “Time of The Season” song?

Jung – i don’t track that stuff well.
Lizzie – i misspelled it – is famous for doing what Lisa is afraid she may have done under the stress of lockdown. She Offed her parents in rather grisly fashion.
I have a request in the Ask the MLT forum for recent family photos.
But it’s not moderated yet. We’ll see.

Interesting sidenote: The late actress Elizabeth Montgomery ( from Bewitched TV show fame) was in fact related to the real Lizzie Borden and if you see photos of Lizzie Borden on internet, you can see the facial resemblances they each have … and Elizabeth even played Lizzie Birden in a made for TV movie back in the 70s…I recall watching that movie, that ‘s how I learned about Lizzie Borden….⛏???

Hi Jung,
i don’t find anything of the old Addams family on the web – or Leeza.
If i recall they were creepy and kooky mysterious and spooky – but not grisly.

Here is the Elizabeth Montgomery movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ans3HM-Hmos
There is a more recent tv film with Christina Ricci

Hi Thomas
Lisa once said here name is pronounced Leeza in German. For Halloween 2018, Lisa did a brilliant video of her Photoshop work in creating a wonderfully ghoulish Halloween photo (similar to the video she made of making of the album cover art for The Duo Sessions). The photo of Leeeza standing there reminded me of the Addams Family character Wednesday. The post started off with the following. The video is no longer available:
How do you behead your twin sister with a guitar but make sure she can still record with you the next day? Watch this video to find out how!

”Lizzie walks outside and hears three children jump roping to the famous nursery rhyme, the time period’s popular children’s skipping-rope rhyme:”
Lizzie Borden took an axe
She gave her mother forty whacks.
When she saw what she had done
She gave her father forty-one.
Lizzie Borden got away
For her crime she did not pay.
