MLT Facebook page latest content
Sorry if this is not the right place to mention this, but it was getting discussed in another thread in the General forum, so I thought I’d mention it here.
On the MLT Facebook page the latest content available seems to be from 2019. It talks about the release of the Christmas album.
I played with the date filter in the Posts area, to no avail. I don’t see it throwing any errors in Dev Tools.
I do see the interview with Natalie about Janitor Joe, but I don’t see any other content as new as that. I’m at least the 4th person to see this.
The image below is what it looked like just a few minutes ago.

Yes….I believe it’s still like that… did let Team MLT know a couple days ago as it’s been like this for a few days to a week now….but glad you also posted in Support/Suggestions area, just in case the message I sent wasn’t received …. I sure don’t know what/why this is going on for Team MLT, but it’s both frustrating/disturbing ….hoping it all can be fixed ….and hoping further preventive measures can be implemented to stop further reoccurences … I’m sorry this has happened to/for them .

I’m sorry for never getting back to you here! You will have probably seen the updates on the Facebook situation since but here’s a quick re-cap.
A few months ago, our Facebook Page got hacked and we lost access to it. The hackers ran fake ads in our name and later also deleted 4 years’ worth of content from our page 🙁 which is why the last post you saw was about the Christmas album in 2019. While we thankfully regained control of the page again and are able to post new content, we have not been able to recover any of the old posts, including videos that had millions and millions of views. The Facebook support team has been horrendous from the minute we got hacked, acting incredibly slow and making things worse while trying to “fix” the situation.
We might make a longer post/update about the whole fiasco at a later point but I hope that explains it well enough here 😊

Thank you for following up with me on this. I did know about the resolution, but I didn’t think to provide an update in this thread, so I apologise for that.
I think Meta focuses more on consumers than businesses. YouTube focuses more on creators, which are businesses. That might explain the difference between the two responses, and those two sets of punters have different requirements as well; a design targeted at consumers may not prioritize the kind of backups that are important to businesses.
Just my guess.

Chris, I did notice in the last day or so that much of the old content is now available on the Facebook page. I don’t know if it has been restored by Facebook or Mona and Lisa have reposted things themselves. I don’t even know if that’s possible but I have seen a lot of the old pictures have been restored.

I still see a gap in the data there. There’s a post on 13-Oct-2023, and the next one after that is from 2-Nov-2019. Maybe I’m missing something.

I see that now Chris, there are 4 picture posts between those dates but no personal photos. I wish there was a way for Facebook to stop this kind of activity. I don’t follow too many celebs on facebook but the ones I do follow all have problems with hackers. I try to report and block as many as I can but there are so many and new ones popping up everyday.
