Mt cats love the Mona Lisa Twins
My cat has been watching TV with her eyes way to close to the screen. I am constantly warning her that she will go blind if she doesn’t get down off the stand and watch TV from the floor, like a normal cat.
Then I thought I could get some cute pictures of her watching TV. She was more than happy to participate. Hmm, what to watch…
The one where she is looking at Mona was carefully posed. Mona helped by dangling that sock in her hand. The other two were by chance. I did not notice that it appears Lisa is leaning on the cat until after I took the picture. By after, I mean the next day.
The picture of Lisa and Oliver shows how I was prompting Pumpkin to look in a certain direction. At first, I started moving the cursor like normal, across the screen at lightning speed. She almost knocked the TV over. With a little practice she caught on.
As I proofread this, I realize that I am a middle-aged man posting cute pictures of my cat on a Friday night.

It’s been ten years since we had a cat, but I do remember her funny antics. She was an indoor cat that we let out on some occasions. She was especially funny on snow.

That is so cute JP! Did you ever find that MLT sticker that you thought Pumpkin might have grabbed when you opened the MLT CD package?
I remember with my one cat I use to drive him crazy with a laser pointer. Then for the longest time whenever I’d walk up to my cat, he would be just looking around for that laser pointer dot on the floor. I stopped doing that as he seemed to be more interested in the laser pointer than me when I was around him. 🙂

‘I never did find that sticker. Damn cats. I know what you mean about those laser pointers. I have seen cats that were constantly on the look out for it. They turn into little paranoid criminals.

JP, I wonder if laser pointers would work on wild cats like cougars. Carry bear spray, and a laser pointer for the cougars?

I remember a long time ago when I lived at home, one morning my mom let the cat in after his usual morning rounds around the neighbourhood, without realizing he had something in his mouth. The cat brought a rat into my room. I guess the rat was playing dead, because soon as he dropped the rat, the rat ran, and I had a rude awakening! 🙂

That is a kool one, Jung. That cat looks a lot like my Tex. It’s funny how cats will bring their kill back to the house. I don’t know if they do it to brag or complain that they are not being fed well?
OMG I just realized the typo in this post. The title is supposed to be “My cats”, not “Mt Cats” (mountain cats) Now I understand the big cat question. Proof read, proof read….

JP, I like that title, “mountain cats”. I’ve always liked cougars, though I wouldn’t want to meet one in the woods. Must be from when I use to go see the live cougar when I was 4 or 5 in Washington State University. It was the WSU Cougars football team mascot.
A question came to mind, did the Beatles do any songs about cats? Well they did. They played an instrumental called “Catswalk” in 1962 at the Cavern. Written by Paul McCartney.

During the Quarry Men days Paul McCartney had written a jazz-style instrumental titled Catswalk (sometimes called Catcall), which was never properly recorded by The Beatles. A rehearsal from late 1962 at the Cavern Club had been recorded, however.
McCartney knew band leader Chris Barber, who played trombone with his trad jazz group, The Chris Barber Band, and decided to offer him the song. The band recorded a version at London’s Marquee Club in July 1967, but McCartney felt it could be done better. This song used to be played by Beatles in Hamburg seasons. -
