Lynn, good point and yeah several famous artists have praised MLT like Steve Lukather, Steve Harley, Donovan, Peter Noone etc…?

Tom Petty talk about Elvis, Beatles, and the Stones.

Rare recording of Jimi Hendrix talking about Eric Clapton, and Eric Clapton talking about Jimi Hendrix. Recording quality is poor, but you can read the subtitles.

Hi Jung;
I also received an email from Peter Asher a couple of years ago. (Yes, little old me got an email from Peter Asher. ) He said he really liked the MonaLisa Twins, too. He had played one of their songs on his Sirius-XM show on the Beatles Channel and I commented on it through email. It seems that Mr. Asher is one of those guys who answers every email sent to him. And, he told me he has been keeping an eye on the MonaLisa Twins and he likes what he hears from them. Mike.

Hi Mike,
That’s awesome that Peter Asher of Peter and Gordon liked MLT. When other famous musicians and legends take notice and give praise, what a testament to Mona and Lisa. In an interview MLT mentioned learning indirectly Ringo heard their stuff and liked it, and Paul McCartney’s little brother Mike McCartney has met and praised MLT too. I’m sure MLT are on Paul’s radar too through Mike. And there is Ray Davies of the Kinks, after hearing MLTs’ covers of his songs, inviting Mona and Lisa to do a cover of Lola for the 50th anniversary of his song.

Speaking of emails from celebrities, when I signed up for the free version of the MLT fan club I clicked on a promotion to get three free MLT songs. A day after I received the email with the download link I received a follow up email asking me if I enjoyed it and had any questions. I figured it was just a generic reply, so I sent a reply to “Whoever handles these emails”. Lisa apparently took offense at the suggestion that the twins didn’t personally respond to their email. She replied saying, “Hi Lynn, … It’s Lisa here”. I know it still could have been anyone writing on her behalf, but I had a feeling it really was her. The day will come when they can’t keep up (back in 2011, I got a personal response from Lindsey Stirling when I joined her fan club – now I’m just a pebble on the beach. I still love her, though), so I thought I better join the MLT “inner circle” hoping to keep things personal as long as possible. It’s on my Bucket List to meet them some day.

David, I always wondered what inspired the Beatles to add that little Beach Boysy phrase in that song, and that answers it. Thanks.
Lynn, back in 2007 I signed up for their news letter subscription and the 3 downloads. I got a welcome email with the download link too. I replied just mentioning why “The Wide, Wide Land” was so special to me, and I got a personal reply from Mona and Lisa sharing their experience with their grandmother. That was just so special and incredible! I know one thing for sure, for Mona and Lisa how their music touches us and makes our lives better is more important than anything else to them. I wish for them to rise up to be legendary iconic superstars across the globe as they deserve so they can touch more lives in all corners of the world. In the meantime, love being part of their musical journey, being able to interact with them, and everything at the Club. It would be a dream to see them live and meet them one day too!
