No More Worries Company
Posted by Bill Isenberg on 29/09/2020 at 10:02Mona and Lisa,
I have a question on your No More Worries Company song off your Orange Album. Did you both write this song? Or was a group effort per say? Meaning dad and Michella helped? I ask because it is such a cool song! Brings back the 60’s or older style of music in a sense and the words are great! All the back ground clips are really neat to listen to and the piano playing is fantastic!! Such a great way to lead off the album.
Thanks

Hi Bill,
“No More Worries Company” has a unique story, different to all the other songs on ORANGE. It is actually a song that Dad wrote back in the 80ies and used to be called “No More Working Company”.Dad has recorded plenty of songs in the past and that one was always our favourite so we wanted to include it on the album 🙂 The lyrics and arrangement all got a revamp but the basic idea, melody and song structure stayed the same.
THANKS, we’re glad you like it! We’re also really happy with how it turned out, especially Dad’s grandiose honky-tonk piano 🙂
Have a lovely day!

Hi Mona,
Thank you so much for getting back to me! Such a great story and yes Dad did a great job on the piano for sure! Makes you want to get up and dance along and has such a great up lifting feeling ! So cool that Dad is such a huge part of the Mona Lisa Twins with his experience and knowledge of the music industry. I had the Orange album on today coming home and that song is such a great way to start the album. I needed that song today, work is crazy anymore and that song helps me put the worries of the day away!

That’s such an awesome uplifting song Mona! First time I heard it, couldn’t help but visualize a Sargent Peppers kind of circus/fair festive atmosphere. Papa Rudi’s “grandiose honky-tonk piano” sounds intriguing! 🙂

It got my attention from the get go, that ol vintage era feel to it, right up my alley, I could visualize a video idea for it in my head as I listened to it, definitely a gem of its own merrits?

“No More Worries Company” is a creative masterpiece. The way it sets the stage for the Orange album is perfect. The whole “themed” presentation of the album is wonderful and unique. This album belongs right up there on the list of the best albums ever.

I agree with you, Stephen. Orange is timeless. When I first heard No More Worries Company, I thought it sounded like it was from an old 1940’s movie. It was a perfect choice for the sky diving video.
Some albums are best listened to in one sitting, from beginning to end. Orange is getting that way for me. As one song ends, my ears are already anticipating the opening to the next song. And as the album ends, I am thankful that I am not home yet, so I can enjoy The Future again.

Yes JP! Music that meets the; “Even though I’m back home I am not going to get out of the car until I finish listening to the music” test is very rare. MLT meets that test for me too!

My sentiments exactly JP, that old vintage Era sound from 20s-40s…

Spot on buddy, Orange album is a very very good album that I never get tired of listening to. My hats off to the MLT and papa and Michelle for putting a quality album for us to enjoy. I too listen to the entire album, when one song is done, I Have the next song already in my mind to listen to. And the sequence of songs is perfect to me and ending with Friend of Mine is perfect!
This just tells us that the next project will be handled the same way as Orange and again it is worth the wait! I feel like a kid when we get a post from them about an early access to music, i feel like I am the first kid on my block to enjoy!! LOL….
