Great selection Lynn of the MLT journey.  There are a few scenes there when they were little, I’m still challenged figuring out which is Mona and which one is Lisa.

I know what you mean, Jung.  I’m pretty clueless on who is who until they’re rolling on the grass.  Do you know if the scene where Lisa is pouring water on top of Mona holding an umbrella is in one of the their videos?

I’ve come to figure out who is who for the most part when they were wee tykes ….Mona’s facial features even at that  young age, is slightly distinctive, and if you study carefully,  both their facial features in the present and then go back to pix as kids, you will find you can somewhat distinguish them  as youngsters….

Lynn, it looks like Lisa was pouring the water on Mona’s umbrella for the June video, but I don’t think they used it.  Maybe?

Jacki, I think it is more challenging to tell kids apart, because they are not always seated or standing with Lisa on our right, and Mona on the left.  😉

Lol, true JP but I’ve had 13 yrs to sort them apart, and I’ve more or less have succeeded, as I go by their slightly distinctive  facial  features , even at the younger ages of them both, Mona is slightly  taller, rather than go by  their trademark  photo posing ? As I’ve said , go and study their facial features in particular  now, and then go back to their childhood photos, you can then get an idea of who  iscwho if you do that…. yes, it is almost impossible at first glances to differentiate  the two as youngsters but you will eventually get to know their facial distinctions , and figure who is who…it took me awhile but I believe I’ve more or less sorted them out as young us…!?…Lol

Hi Lynn, I think as JP said that scene with the water pouring on Mona was an unused scene for June, as the umbrella looks the same one used in June.  I don’t recall that scene in any other video.

I think you’re right about the June video.  They wanted a “rain” shot, but it didn’t fit with the outdoor theme of the rest of the video.  But it was perfect for “Two of Us”.

Jacki, I once had identical twins in a college math class I was teaching. It seemed prudent for me to learn how to distinguish them, so I quickly noticed that one had three piercings in each ear while the other only had one.  Later I noticed that one had five freckles on one of her arms in the shape of a W (like the constellation, Cassiopeia).  Mona, as I am sure you know has a mole/freckle near her left eye, and Lisa has one on her right cheek.  Unfortunately, I don’t know when these developed and I can’t see them in their pre-teen videos.  I do think you are right that once I am more familiar with their other facial features I should be able to figure out who’s who in those early videos.

Anybody else been watching them grow out their hair and wondering what they are planning.

Yeah I like their hair styles.  They both seem to be growing them out similarly.  Mona with the blond streaks, and Lisa with the red streaks, and all blond or red on the ends.  Looks wonderful.  I like all the different styles they’ve done over the years actually.
