I played trombone in the school band and it was a really fun instrument to master. Lots of sounds you can only make with a trombone especially when you “rip” with the slide. Only bad part was when I came back to school in the fall after summer vacation it took days for my lips to quit tingling and buzzing from getting used to blowing on that mouthpiece so much again. Oh the pains that musicians go through. What kind of physical aches and pains do you ladies have to deal with besides blisters on your fingers when your calluses wear off a bit after a break from playing guitar?

My music class in middle school was not a pleasant  experience (Grades 7/8), as I had tried to learn trumpet, the music teacher was not impressed with my efforts, basically thought me of being stupi1d and will never amount musically in any aspect, what a nice encouraging attitude to have towards a student… I got taken out of that class.. (Side note… He’s now retired from being a school music teacher but conducts in a community choir /music chorus band, which I see concert of every Christmas season)… I have happier memories in elementary school in those music class hours…. Sung songs from a music songbook for school kids, my kindergarten teacher played an autoharp like John Sebastian does, another music teacher played guitar one year in another grade, etc… I probably had a chance to fiddle around with a cowbell back then in elementary school… Now I jyst enjoy playing around on my percussion type instruments, my portable wee keyboard, tambourine, harmonica and purple uke… ?

Maybe a toothbrush would be a better idea. It’s all I can afford!

How about a Red Ryder BB Gun?  🙂   But if it’s a Trombone they like, I’m in Lynn.

They’ll shoot their eye out, Jung!

A trombone would be a real blast.  But the thought of a toothbrush makes me bristle.

I hope Santa was good to Mona and Lisa this Christmas, they certainly deserved it I think, they made so many people so happy.

I’m quite certain Santa was indeed groovy good to MLT and Santa was impressed  with their gift to all MLT Clubbers, courtesy of a LiveStream, ????
