She Loves You
The first time I heard “She Loves You” and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, they sounded like magic, and I could understand all the fuss, Beatlemania wasn’t hype, the Beatles were that good, they possessed something just no one else had! Listening to MLT’s “She Loves You” and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, they feel brand new again like when I first heard them, and does these monumental Beatles classics true justice. Mona and Lisa’s vocals are fabulous magic to bring them back to life for me like that. Love them. They make it their own.
My Generation is great too, captures it’s essence perfectly, in all MLT unique style!

I have a particular fondness for “She Loves You’ and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” since I got extra credit points in German class for learning the German language versions. I wonder if MLT could be persuaded to do a Duo Session of one (or both) in German?

Jim, it would be very cool to hear MLT do it in German. Love hearing them sing in German, too only if there were 8 days a week. So much music, too little time said a famous composer.

When I first heard She Loves You I was 10 years old and it stopped me in my tracks. Music had never sounded like that before. Then a few years went by and I saw the sheet music and understood why. The chords and notes are not according to traditional music theory……and that was a good thing. The Beatles could not really read music…….they just composed what sounded good to them. Then they had George Martin to straighten things out when needed…..  So, I have always liked She Loves You more then I Want To Hold Your Hand…Can’t tell you why, but it has always caught my ear more. Mike.
