    Hi Mona & Lisa. Have you two considered doing a version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Scarborough Fair/Canticle”.  It is such a beautiful melody and has wonderful harmonies. I think it would be an amazing song for you to do.  Here is the great Paul and Artie performing “Scarborough Fair” live at their Central Park Concert in September of 1981.

    You could do just the “Scarborough Fair” version – like they are doing in this live performance shown above…  or you could try the “Scarborough Fair/Canticle” version they recorded in 1966 – which intertwines Art and Paul singing two songs within the one track.  Both are wonderful – and it would be such a joy to hear the two of you work your magic on either one of them.

    Thanks for continuing to create so much fab content for all us fans who love you so much.

    Hi Michael!

    We have thought about doing more Simon & Garfunkel material many, many times. The list of potential cover songs for us just by them alone is about a mile long and we can almost guarantee that we’ll do more of them as time goes on.

    “Scarborough Fair” would be a hauntingly beautiful one to try for sure and we appreciate the suggestion! It has just moved up a few notches in our mental song list 😉

    That Central Park Concert is incredible from start to finish, thanks for sharing it here again.

    All the best from rainy Liverpool!

    Mona

    “A Bridge Over Troubled Waters” would be amazing.  Now that you’ve taken two songs off my top ten list I have to add more 🙂  “Imagine” and “It Ain’t Me Babe” are spectacular.

    I had a distressed call yesterday saying the plow hadn’t shown up for our clinic parking lot.  My first thoughts were no……. It Ain’t Me….  I reluctantly fired up our backup plow for a long drive.  Then your music made it an enjoyable, wonderful experience!  Thanks again for your wonderful music.

    Yes John, that song is another S&G cover I would love to hear MLT tackle…. Or Kodakrome(spelling might be wrong but you know the one I’m thinking of here, I hope), as another S&G one they could try as well…

    Hi;

    I think they could pull off Scarborough Fair/Canticle.  It has inter-weaving lyrics just like God Only Knows and they did such a good job on that song.  Bridge has a very challenging ending calling for many strong high vocal notes.  But, if anyone can do it, it would be MLT.  I could see Rudi playing the piano for the song while the Twins sing it.  Mike.
