Songs on the shelf
Mona and Lisa,
Sorry to bug you so much with questions..but got one for you. Do you have songs on the shelf that have been recorded or stated and not finished. I ask because I remember back in 1980 when the Rolling Stones did Start Me Up ? It was something they did back in 1974 and sat for what ever reason and when they did release it in 1980 it became a huge hit . So I guess you can say do you have a back log of music that falls into that category?

And lots of them!
Normally they aren’t fully fleshed out for a reason, like us not being too happy with a song and dropping it to work on an idea we like better. Especially now that we’re writing lots of songs for the new album, we have accumulated a bunch of new half-finished songs that we either haven’t come around to finishing yet or dropped halfway through the writing process.
Our phones, computers and notepads are also full of little audio snippets or rough lyrics or riffs or melodies that might find their way into a song in the end 🙂

When it comes to half finished songs, I sometimes go back to another one that is half finished and the two parts fit……..it does not happen often, but it works sometimes. Mike.

YES! This tells me that we will have your great music for some time moving forward… So cool that you have stuff on your phones or devices, there is a story about Keith Richard on Satisfaction. He woke up with the guitar riff in his head and he pulled out his tape recorder and put it on tape and then fell back a sleep and the rest of the tape had him snoring…LOL…Thank you for getting back to me and looking forward and very patient on new original music from the Mona Lisa Twins!! Your Music is a daily part of my life, can’t get thru the day without listening to your great music! It makes me feel so great and love your harmonies.
