For years I thought this guy was saying “whispering madhouse”:

I see what you mean David. It’s like everybody smoke pot or everyone got one.

It would seem there are enough bells out there to build a carillon:

Joe, David you both let the flood gates open with Ring and Bells.
Here is one from the Who.
-
Metallica also did a similar one to AC DC Hells Bells, called for Whom The Bell Tolls, but I think one metal song is enough for now. On the other end of the scale from Hells Bells and for Whom the Bell Tolls, here is a glorious Christmas tune rich in harmonies.

Well since we’re going with Christmas

Hey Jung, I’m a big Who freak and I can’t believe I did not get Bell Boy. Glad you did.
Well if you like ring and bell. Wait for lightning and thunder.
David thanks for another McCoo.

I keep wanting to add Ma Belle Amie, but that belle doesn’t quite ring true.

Hey Joe, even with the Beach Boys, I needed a little help from Youtube to find certain songs, their repertoire was so big, like the Who are too. Some great music being selected here based on rings and bells! Those last two Christmas ones by Lynn and David are getting me into the Christmas spirit already in October.  🙂

Interesting that bells and ringing came up as topics – my wife and I are both Change Ringers. And to that end, I’m suprised nobody has come up with Pete Seeger’s “The Bells of Rhymney”

Hi Jim, yeah niiice Byrds song. The wonderful guitar riff in this song inspired George Harrison’s “If I Needed Someone” on Rubber Soul apparently.
“Change Ringers”, what is that?

A couple that spring to mind:
Hells Bells – AC/DC
Ring My Bell – Anita Ward
