Sweet Lorraine x2
Greetings Ladies,
I hope each of you are well, and enjoying the changes of the season.
 In your brilliant Original song Sweet Lorraine, I noticed in the Duo Version, that Mona appears as I imagined Lorraine would have at the dance, while Lisa with her red hair and white blouse. In the verse ” Lilly white dress turned to red”, I don’t think the close up of Lisa’s hair and blouse was a coincidence.
My question is, I believe that one of you mentioned that it was surprisingly easy how simple it was to turn Sweet Lorraine into a duo session. I remember you playing this song as part of your set before your gig with Steve Harley 15-12-2017. You had a 30 minute set of Orange as an opening, you all played Sweeg Lorraine that night.
Did you all use that arrangement as a basis for the duo session or was it the same/ or completely different? In Either case its brilliantly Amazing. Mona’s lead vocals are dynamic, and Lisa’s guitar sings beautifully

Yes, playing that song as a duo is a blast 🙂 When we performed it at the Steve Harley gig I believe we did a similar arrangement but that was a few years ago so I couldn’t say for sure. Our set-up in the studio definitely made it easier to pack a lot of detail into the duo session version. Imitating the choir, figuring out all the guitar licks again … it was a fun project and I’m glad you liked it 🙂 … including the intentionally chosen outfits! -

I was pretty sure those outfits and camera angles were intentional. Thanks for confirming. I will send you something in regards to the Steve Harley gig by way of email. Then I would be interested to know your thoughts.
