The Joy of Sibling Music
Girls, when I watch the two of you play I get transported back to the years that I played with my brother Craig, who sang as The Moose back then. Although I played in bands; the Shoremen, Brian & Dave: Tomorrow’s People, and played solo for many years, I have to admit that my most enjoyable time was playing with my brother as Three Down & the Moose. Plus, I think siblings have a natural appealing harmony in their voices such as the wonderful sounds that the MonaLisa Twins achieve. You are both very self contained artists that have carved out a career as a duo, but I wonder if you ever do songs in your live sets where each of you sing alone without the harmony or accompaniment of the other? Do you sometimes do that? As I have often said before, what I love about the two of you extends beyond your wonderful music. I love the way that you love each other and your mutual appreciation comes through so beautifully. I think, to me, that was the biggest joy of the Sibling Music experience.
