    Hey Jung,

Roger sort of came into his vocally and his singing identity once the who made Tommy.

He is a great singer and doesn’t get the credit he should. Listen to the bass lines in the songs

I always thought John Entwistle was the best bass player. My opinion. When the camera is on him Watch both of his hands .  He had these nicknames.  The Ox, Thunder Fingers. He was amazing. Townsend had a showmanship like no other with hi windmill and power chords.

Hey Joe, I Can See For Miles is another awesome song!

I also like this one.  Hear Rogers vocals soar!  This one is right in the wheel house of Pink Floyd and Supertramp style, from around the same time too.

Wow, superb performance of Baba O Riley.  I see what you mean Joe about Entwistle’s superb finger work on the bass, he does indeed stand out!  Townsend shines in his showmanship, and as usual Daltry’s vocals is just exhilarating, he is such a powerful singer!  And I’m happy not to see the guitars getting obliterated at the end!  Supreme musicians they are, all of them.

I like a lot of Pete’s solo stuff.  He released “White City” in 1985.  It’s an interesting concept album, whose concept does not jump off the page.  Some of the songs are kinda dark, but then the story starts to shine through as the songs follow someone’s hopes and dreams growing up poor in a violent city.

I know that doesn’t sound too appealing, but it works.  Great lyrics, catchy hooks, and incredible music.

Here is a live performance of “Give Blood” https://youtu.be/tAHUsFgnoBs

I think Pete Townshend was separated at birth from U.S. President John Tyler:

He defiantly has his nose David. But I bet he can’t play guitar like Pete. A good one.

David, do you know the story of Blade Runner?  Time traveling warriors.   This could explain Pete’s early stage tendency to swing his guitar like an axe.

    Jung and Club members,

Again my point on what I have been saying all along, these ladies are in a handful of musicians who can cover a song and make it their own, so with that said? I love this version and as a drummer I Am tapping along with Mona on my desk, steering wheel, dinner table on the conga part she is amazing right?
