Jacki, I will check out Denny Doherty and Cass and Mason, I have a few of Mason solo albums. I love the group Traffic. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Joe;
I like those you mentioned, too. Also once upon a time (late 1970s and early 1980s) Vince Gill was with Pure Prairie League. He took Craig Fuller’s spot who went to Little Feat…..wow, that was another lifetime ago.
Also, Buffalo Springfield could not stay together for the same reason CSNY could not always stay together. With Stills and Young in the band they had two very good lead guitarists and two very good lyricists. And that rarely works. Mike.

Yea those ego’s always mess things up. But another Springfield album would have been nice.
Oh well. I knew that about Gill. He could also could have been in Dire Straits. But he did the right thing and stuck with his own music and made it. He is a special talent to me.

Mike…funny you mentioned Vince Gill and PPL… as a kid in the 70s, I always loved on the radio ” Let Me Love You Tonight “, not knowing at the time it was Vince Gill singing , but years later found out long after I became a fan of Vince Gill …and was on lookout for CD of PPL that had that song on it, got lucky, found one.. lije Joe, I’m a fan of Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, etc and like you love Linda Ronstadt stuff?

Jacki, Linda is special. It’s a shame she has lost her voice and has Parkinson. She never made a bad recording. I don’t think I could pick her best album they were all good.
