Originally from Central California, I’ve spent the last 27 years in Nebraska (Midwest USA) where my wife and I raised our sons.   Now I’m working on spoil my granddaughter and five-year-old twin grandsons. Like others I’ve seen commenting, I don’t play an instrument (yet), but I love to see the skills others display.  I especially love to see females displaying proficiency with multiple instruments (especially if one of them is the drums).  It doesn’t hurt when they can sing as well as write their own music.  The MonaLisa Twins have everything that would appeal to me, so here I am.

I love Sina!  I’ve been following her for a couple years now.  I love that she plays “Come Together” Ringo style even though I’m pretty sure she’s right handed.  And she plays multiple instruments.  I also love her collaborations.  Maybe the Twins and her …

Hi Lynn.  A warm welcome to the Club!  So glad you joined.

I’ve never been to Nebraska, but would love to do a cross country road trip through the mid USA, when all this craziness ends.

Speaking of proficiency with multiple instruments, I’m always blown away by Mona seeing her  play the guitar, harmonica, wazinator, and singing all in one song like It Aint Me Babe and others.

Sina looks like a great multi talented musician too.  Maybe as Joe said we are in for a Women Invasion in music.

Welcome Lynn.  I think Nebraska may be just about the only state I haven’t been to – but hopefully will someday.  I’m from Utah and found the twins about a year and a half ago.  I agree with you about a collaboration with Sina.  I think her fans would love the twins also – How can you not?

Cool you have some twin grandsons.  That can be a fun age.  Hope all is going well in Nebraska for you.  Glad you found your way to the club.  There’s some great people here.  It’s so interesting learning about music and songs I may not have heard before from some of the knowledgeable people here.

    Welcome to the club, Lynn.

I don’t play any instrument yet either, but listening to music is an important part of my life. It has been a wonderful experience discovering the addictive music of the Mona Lisa Twins. They really are extraordinarily talented and versatile musicians. Enjoy browsing  all the great material here at the club.

Welcome to the best Club in the world Lynn. I don’t play any musical instruments either but I do appreciate good music, and that is why I’m a MLT fan.

    Lynn,

Sina would be a great addition. I think she is the best drummer out there. Only 21.

Amazing.  That one thing I notice Mona Lisa will use two different drummer and bass players.

    Welcome to the club, Lynn!

My only visit to Nebraska was two years ago, when I drove across it on I-80 as part of a cross-country trip.  It was mid-May, so I had the smell of fresh manure as my constant travelling companion.  Talk about catching the wind…

Welcome Lynn. It’s nice to see a fellow Midwesterner here! I’m from Wisconsin and have traveled through Nebraska many times in the past. Our family used to stay at the Cliff Motor Lodge in Lincoln on our way to see my grandparents in California. I too am a big fan of Sina. Would love to see a collaboration with her and the twins. Hope you enjoy your stay at the MLT club!

I clicked the “quote” button to see what it does.  Anyway, Michael, I spent the summer of ’74 in Fond du Lac.  Growing up in California, it was my first experience with humidity, fireflies and legal drinking (I was 18 coming from a state where you had to be 21).
