When I'm 64 brought me to MLT.
Hi, I just discovered the Monalisa Twins on my 64th birthday last week. I’m a big Beatles fan so I looked up the “When I’m 64” song on YT to play, and then I saw your version as well. Actually I like your version better! So I started playing your videos for several hours and for the last few days as well. Your harmonies are so beautiful and the videos so well done that I’m beyond impressed. So I found out about your club and wanted to add my support. You add new freshness to the Beatles music that makes me appreciate their incredible melodic compositions even more. So happy to have found you.
And having discovered that you two love running and did that ultra race just makes it all so much better as I’m runner too and love marathons and ultras. Loved your doc of the race!
I like your original music as well, so far my favorite one is June. It has that 60’s sound that I love so much and actually sounds like a Beatles song. Well done! I dislike most of today’s music, the 60’s have always been my favorite period and it’s great to discover a new “group” that creates and covers music from that period. I really miss discovering new artists and groups.
Anyway hello fellow members, happy to be onboard and look forward to reading your posts.

Happy Belated birthday Bruce, and what a special way to discover Mona and Lisa through “When I’m 64”. Indeed their covers and originals are all very special magic like none other. Their vocals and harmonies are to die for, and musicianship is so full of passion and emotions, just absolutely brilliant. Glad you decided to join the MLT Club journey. A huge welcome aboard. 🙂

How lovely to welcome a fellow runner to the MLT Club! We did our second race of the year last weekend, a 10k. What we’ve found out is that all that long distance training we did for the first half of the year in preparation for the ultra, really doesn’t help with your short distance speed ???? We had fun though!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! You two are the best new artist discovery that I’ve made in years and hope you continue as you are for many more.
Running is my biggest passion right now and has been for about 6 years and I hope the passion sticks with you as well (once a runner always a runner, as they say). Congrats on your 10K and I’ll look forward to your posts on future races. 🙂 And especially your wonderful music.
