Wish You were Here: 1 M views
A little diversion from the usual fare here.
Some of you may have noticed that “Wish You Were Here” is rapidly approaching 1M views. I estimate it will hit that mark between Friday, Sept 11, 4:00 P.M. BST and Saturday, Sept 12, 1:00 P.M. BST. You’ll need to keep refreshing your browser if you want to watch it repeatedly to see the count go up. I’m a recent addition to the MLT fan club so I’ve missed previous milestones, but I couldn’t help notice that this is by far the fastest an MLT song has reached 1 million views.

That’s great to hear Lynn, I remember when that video first came out it was jumping by leaps and bounds. It wasn’t very long ago I recall While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Drive My Car surpassed 1M, and now they are both past 4M just like that. The MLT youtube channel views are growing exponentially.

I think a lot of fans have notice the count, there’s been 2000 views in the last 12 hours after just over 2000 in the previous 24 hours. Maybe it will happen before 4 P.M BST (8 AM PDT if you live on the west coast of the U.S. or Canada.

I was worried youtube would freeze at 999,999 and we would miss the roll over to 1M.

Johnnypee, “Bus Stop” is closest to 1M at 989,150+ I’ll start watching its rate of increase.
“If I fell” is closest to 2M at 1,907, 700. May be a while for that one.
I’d like to see one of their originals reach the half million mark. “That’s Life” and “This Boy is Mine” are both at 355K, “Still a Friend of Mine” just reach a quarter million.
