YouTube Analytics
Posted by Lynn T. Newcomb on 06/11/2020 at 19:09In your “Liverpool Calling” video you show a YouTube analytics slide which, I believe, is showing the total views in a year on your channel and the daily views graph (the year you released your first original album). I don’t suppose you’d be willing to share the current analytics.
I’m very much looking forward to your new original album. The success of “Wish You Were here” (1.16M views in seven months) and your growing subscribership (should reach 150K soon) suggests that your first 1M view original will be on your new album.

Hi Lynn,
We just re-watched the “Liverpool Calling” video to see what clip you were talking about.
We are showing a slide where you can see our daily views go up from 2k to about 5k when we started uploading more regularly. We were so happy with that development! And now we are getting between 40k and 70k views every single day!! … watching that old video made me quite emotional. Given that the presentation at the LIPA school doesn’t feel THAT long ago so much has changed since. I guess 6 more years of hard work is paying off 🙂
You can actually follow our weekly and monthly stats here: https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/monalisatwins
Unfortunately, the income estimate numbers are anything but accurate but the daily weekly and monthly views are correct 🙂We know some of our fans follow the numbers closely because they normally are the first to let us know when we approach a new milestone 😉

I’d forgotten all about socialblade. It’s been a long time since I spent time there (It’s been awhile since I cared about a particular YouTuber’s success). Thank you for the link. And congratulations on passing 50,000,000 total views on YouTube. I had noticed at the time I posted this question that you had passed that mark, but I forgot to mention it.

Hi Lynn,
Welcome to the Club!.
I have been following Social Blade for sometime, and am usually the one of the ones to post new numbers to IFC and to the Twins via Twitter. Staggering number totals lately for them.
Their Original Song Still A Friend Of Mine recently passed 2.2 Million Views on FB. “Insane ” as Lisa put it.

If I’m reading this right, MLT reached 150,000 YouTube subscribers yesterday. Or maybe it was last week.

Hi Lynn,
According to Social Blade, they reached 150k Subscribers today. I had forgotten to look lately, thanks for seeing it first a d bringing it to everyone’s attention.
FYI when you are reading Social Blade, the very last line is the current day. It may even say live next to the Subscriber Total.

Thanks Rick. I actually thought it was today, but the way Social Blade jumped up by 1000 made it look like it was the week of Oct 26 to Nov 2. In other news, “I Saw Her Standing There” passed 1,990,000 views yesterday. I’ll probably continue the countdown (up) to 2M in my “If I Fell” thread.
It might interest the Twins (if they ever look back at these threads) to know that I did an informal check and found that several of their Beatles’ covers are the most viewed covers of those songs on YouTube. In fact, the only version of “Drive My Car” with more views is the Beatle’s remastered version. Paul McCartney’s live version is third. “If I fell” is third behind two Beatles’ versions.

Hi Lynn,
I was 1,992,626
I was trying to catch 1,992,600
Let’s see who the gets to be the 2,000,000 viewer. These numbers are getting crazy.
