Jung and members, I feel the same, Mona and Lisa are simply the best. I love their covers better than the original and when I listen to the Beatle Channel on XM radio and when they put a cover on from another group and if it is not the twins I Change the channel, the twins are the best at Beatle covers hands down. Not sure if was posted or not but the small faces turned into the faces with Rod Stewart and Ron Wood and I like them a lot and hope the remaining members can get together. Lazy Sunday is a brilliant piece of work from the twins and they have a blast singing this song and I am playing the air guitar with them on this one, simply the best!! Love the twins and my day is not complete unless I hear them.

Mona thank you so much for sharing photo’s of Hyde Park and Maddie loved seeing them as well. Sure is a beautiful place to visit and that is on my bucket list when I retire hopefully in 2022.

I love that song Pascal for sure. LOL…Good one and in some cases I like Mona and Lisa’s cover over the original due to it being brought back from when it first came out and they make it their own to me.

I Agree Jung great points on how we love the music Mona and Lisa do and the perfection they have. I Also agree they make it look so easy on the video’s and the live album, and I know I brought this up in the past but 4 people on that album, 2 guitars, one bass and one drummer and my goodness it sounds so awesome to me. Oh yea and two wonderful voices.

I admire Mona playing the drums, she did a fabulous job on Club 27. As a drummer I can appreciate her style of playing and love to do the air drums at work while I listen to the Juke Box!!!

Staying true to the original words is important to me never was a fan of changing from boys to girls but the songs that you do change never bothered me because you stayed true to the song in my opinion.

LOL..Good one Lisa and love the humor that you both have! So refreshing to me!!!

Thanks Bill , I agree such a great song. And do you agree on how Lisa does the leads on some of the songs? One that comes to mind is While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Mona on You Can’t do that. They really do a great job covering songs.

Bill Thank you for your help. Makes a lot of sense and I just played the F cord and the fingering is not easy for someone like me who plays now and then but would think it would be a breeze for someone like Mona and Lisa.
Speaking of which I mentioned this before the cords for Black Bird appear to be difficult. Would I be correct on that? And Mona and Lisa did this song very well.

All I know that if we lived next to the Mona Lisa Twins……Maddie would never come home! LOL…But what a great concept , living next door to such great ladies and great music! Sounds like heaven to me everyone!!!

Thank you Lisa for responding. Yes Pennsylvania is quite beautiful in the fall. In fact today is the first day of school for Maddie who is in 3rd grade and that means one thing? Fall is on its way soon!!
Stay groovy

Welcome Rick to the grooviest place on the internet and earth! I found Mona and Lisa back in 2018 and wish I would have found them sooner. Love this club and the people who are members. Mona and Lisa in my book are one off’s meaning no one else like them in my book. My grand daugher Maddie has someone positive to look up to ( she is 8) Everything they do from music, to life, to just being who they are and good values which is hard to find in today’s world. I am sure you will enjoy this club and my god they are so talented with their craft all I can say is check out the video’s and you will see how lucky we all are!
God bless my friend
