Wow Jacki, so cool thanks for the break down, brought back great memories. One song from the 60’s to me that stands out is If I Can Dream 1968 Elvis, a song that came out after the passings of Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy. The 70’s brought American Pie, and the 80’s brought Michael Jackson and Madona etc….kind of got lost a bit after that. But 2017 opened my eyes with the Mona Lisa Twins thank god.

Jacki and Diane,
Me as well, loved the early 70’s music. Stuck in the Middle with you is such a great cover and they did it again, made this song their own, Mona with the lead vocals and strong rhythem plaing is off the charts and Lisa with that awesome guitar riffs, wow who can ask for more. They have this down to a sience with the arragement of all their music. I do lean to the early 70’s ( 1970 to 1974) to me the Mona Lisa Twins have a great library of music to cover. And their original music is second to none. -
This is so cool. Thanks so much for this lesson everyone. I am like Jacki, not to good with the math on my end but in my career at my job it is a must. I have to laugh when I was in school taking Algerbra I said I will never use this , but HELLO….I am …LOL…This was a great learing process guys, so intresting and Jung your the man my friend with your breakdown for us lay people…Thanks and my favorite is Lola, love that song and they way the Mona Lisa Twins do this song is so awesome.

Thanks Mona for your reply, I know in the USA it is getting a bit better day by day and we have live shows scheduled in Pittsburgh This summer, one show I would like to see is James Taylor and Jackson Browne. But yes a bit too early to talk about the live shows for the Mona Lisa Twins but when you do have the green light? I know me and the club members will be there to support and love seeing you in concert.

Refugio and Jung,
Great posts. I do believe Mona and Lisa are a once in a lifetime for me, Just like Elvis, Frank Sanatra . Beatles, Sammy Davis Jr, I feel these ladies have it all going on with their approach to their craft, life and just wonderful human beings in this crazy world we live in 2021. It is so refreshing to see Mona and Lisa do what they do and how lovely and nice they are and just plain beautiful ladies. I miss the times in my life when I looked up to people and it got lost some how thru the years but Mona and Lisa have ensured us that there are still wonderful and beautiful people in this world and to share their love for this music with us is special. I agree Jung in their live shows you can see how they perform together and how you can feel the love they have for this music and one song comes in mind is the opening number Drive My Car, just sit back and listen to this track, you can feel how they are jumping out of their skin and the joy they have singing this tune and singing Beep Beep Beep Beep…wow such energy. -
I agree gentilmen, such a great way to start your career. Mona and Lisa congratulations
-
Agree Jung, vocals are spot on and just a simple and beautiful song at that,

Mona and Lisa are to me once in a life time and I am so happy that I found them on U Tube. Their music, approach to life and just wonderful ladies makes all the differce to me in this crazy world we live in. Knowing how much they love this music is so cool and I love how they cover songs and make them their own. Example is Baby Mine , first time i ever heard that song and the arrangement is perfect and voacals are spot on and of courrse the guitar riffs from Lisa is top notch. Really they both are so talented it is a wonderful thing to witness, with Mona with all her talents, drums, guitar, flute, accordin, etc and Lisa with her talents of guitar work, vocals wow they are the best I have ever seen and I have been around the music industry for a number of years and these ladies are the best thing to happen in a very long time as far as I am concerned.

I have said this before I put Mona and Lisa up against the best in my book, they can rock the roof off any club they play in or can simply just give us beautiful music and when either one does a guitar solo, the other one is so supportive and that person either MOna or Lisa keeps the rhythm going for the the person doing the lead. My heavens I thank god for these talented ladies every day. So to me? Mona and Lisa are my guitar hero’s now and beyond.

Lisa you mentioned Florida and I have to say, My son lived in Fort Lauderdale for 5 years and we visited him 3 to 4 times a year and it is a wonderful place to stop and visit if you ever get the chance. The beach and sights are a pleasure and want to go back ASAP but I feel you and Mona would love it.

Thank you Lisa and Jung, I was thinking of doing that myself this summer hopefully with the lock down eases up a bit , we went camping years ago and got a way from it when the kids started playing sports but it is time to get back to it,
