Thank you Jung, Jacki and Dan! Hard to believe 42 years, wow time flies by so quickly anymore. But having this club and the Mona Lisa Twins music in my life makes it all that much better!

Jacki,
I am so impressed with this post! Thank you for your talent. Mona and Lisas music is a fabric of my life each and every day. Like I mentioned before, I am no different than anyone, I Have personal issues in my family that I deal with, my job is getting a bit to much after 44 years, I Miss our little dog Cosmo ( yorkie we had for 17 years ) Covid…etc …my point is the Mona Lisa music takes me away from all of this and makes me feel so much better and now that there are two lovely ladies in this world that love the music they play and send it to us again to know YES we have this and come along for the ride, no worrys company will make you feel better!!! -
Sorry to jump in so late here, but yes the 70’s did happen. For me like I mentioned before from 1970 to 73 i feel it was a spill over from the 60’s. i love this era of music in that period 70 to 74. So much good songs from those 4 years is awesome. From Elton John’s Song for you , Gorden Lightfoots If you could read my mind, Carpenters, Helen Readdy, Roberta Flack ( First time ever I saw your face 1972) such a lovely song that I can llisten to everyday. Carly Simon, etc….but 1975 was the push for Disco and those songs got shelved from 70 to 74.

Beautiful Post Jung,
Same with me, towards the end my mom also was laid up in a care home and remember sitting and holding her hand and talking about the good times. A friend once told me, embrace the moment, don’t hold back and tell your parents how much they mean to you and I did and thank god each day we had our talk and told her and my dad how I loved them. Mine was a bit complicated, My biologial mom had me at an early age and my grand mother raised me and my mother passed at the age of 38 so my grand mother made sure to watch over me and she passed in 2001 so I was blessed with 2 ( mom’s ) filled with love and support. -
As a drummer I am impressed with Charlie on this song with his version of wipe out, man can he play or what. But such a simple song with simple cords and vocals takes it to another level to me! LOVE IT

Great post my friend but I do love this song as well, has a bit of Till There was You through out. And the power of Mona and Lisa is so awesome, listen to the live Album when they cut? THERE is at least 5 seconds before Lisa comes back in and you can hear a pin drop, that tells me they pull you in with mind and spirit of their music. And the video is a beautiful production of love and spirt to me. -
So to me it seems Mona is the more out going? And Lisa is the more settled one? Would that be correct?

All the video’s of you both when you were little is so adorable. We can tell that you both were lovable children! And more loving aduts now!! We all just love you both.

Lisa,
Thanks for replying, LOL…My boys are aftaid of my daughter growing up….they are bigger than her but she kept them at bay…. -
Thanks Mona for replying, yea this was a huge hit in the USA. 1961 and in 1962. Just thought to throw that one out there to you ladies. Thanks again and stay groovy

Mona and Lisa,
You both are what this world needs so badly, good and honest ladies that have a love and zest for life. This is so missed in today’s world. And that is part of what drew me to you both, of course your music , but knowing that there are lovely ladies like yourselves out there like I always say….your taking us along with you and letting us know , we got this and lets have fun. And my hats off to Pa Pa and Michelle, god bless them for they have raised wonderful and beautil ladies. I am the person today because of my parents, they are not here but in my heart always. So please stay groovy and keep the love and spirit of your music go on and on. It has helped me thru some hard times in my life and my little Maddie loves you both. She is 8 years old.

Mona you do a great job on the drums, I started playing in a Drum and Baton corp and playing in parades and loved it a lot and got a cheap set out of a cataloge and learned to play listening to records and playing along.
