    Lisa,
That album along with Orange is absolutely fantastic. To write your own music and to do the different parts of harmony and guitar Riffs is a mark of excellence to me.

Thank you Lisa, so cool that we got to chat with you and Mona!! I have a Pearl Drum set from 1994, Export Series and looking to trade it in for a Gretch Drum set, 5 piece and new cymbals etc. That Rickenbaucer you play on this video is so awesome and I would love to sit down and strum a few chords on that. So when you play that guitar, do you think about the legands that played this guitar??

They had a way to have the right person sing what ever song they put out. So perfect to me and such a great sound when the harmonized. So think about this one….to me this is why Mona and Lisa are so perfect they sing well together and harmonize perfect and spot on.

    Michael, David and Jung,
All good points here. On this one of when I m 64 it was done with perfection from the sound to the outfits and singing and to my the coolest guitar playing between the two of them, my goodness so talented and the production of this video is the reason they are so good.

    Jacki and David,
Spot on, Dusty Springfield was a super person and very talented with a beautiful Voice. A bit of trivia…..She sang back up on Elton John’s 1974 hit , that I don’t want to put the title because it is not suited with this post and will be deleted but if you have the Carbu album it is the first cut on side one. But it was one of many hits for Elton John.

    Jung,
100% AGREE!! You hit it out of the park with your post. The cool thing for me would be that you and Jacki, and Thomas and all the club members can be at the same show when we ever get a chance to see them live. And to point out another cool part of this live album? Listen to Drive My Car, wow they are so pumped with this opening number huh? And when Lisa kicks into the lead you can feel them taking it to another level!! Jung I can not believe how good these ladies are. They are a special breed of 26 year olds that love our music. Most kids in today’s world could care less and feel it is not good music which is ok, this is their generation but for us? That Mona and Lisa love this music is awesome to me. It is so good to have them pump new life into this music and to show the world, this music is standing the time 50 plus years later and beyond.

Coming home today I had side 2 with Taxman as the opener and again this album is so energetic it is awesome. BOTH Mona and Lisa are so good and lift you into another dimension it is a great feeling. Jung I was loving yesterday ( Sunday ) because I played Lazy Sunday and man what a great tune and hearing Mona in the background as Lisa is singing is so cool to listen to. I am telling you if I ever see them live? Well I can just say I would be so happy and probably want to cry. Now I know how those girls felt in the 60’s with the Beatles and I mean cry with joy and happiness.

    Jung
Great post. How about the song from 1969 In the Year 2525. Wow how much of that is happening today in 2021? I know this may be off the track here a bit, but everything I read is awesome. I also feel that we all meet each other thru life for a reason. I was on vacation a number of years ago and met up with a guy who was retired and we talked every day like we knew each other and I learned a lot from him, and when we left to go home? He said See you on the other side…wow

I am guessing Revolution was the last song, It was awesome and I think the Cavern Club roof needed repair after the Mona Lisa Twins tore the roof off on Revolution! Wow again jumping up and down during that song!!

Well put Jung, I totally agree. They know how to perform these songs and take you along with them thru the entire song. i am glued to the video or song when they play. They pull us in and make us feel so groovy knowing they have this and very lucky to go along for the ride!! For them to input their original music with the covers tells us that they are the real deal and no just going thru the motions
