What fantastic posts everyone! Jacki, wow your up early!! LOL…just knowing that we have the Mona Lisa twins and their musical journey is a blessing to me. From lisenting to music all my life and being a drummer and knowing the ins and outs of the business It makes me so happy to see Mona and Lisa and Pa Rudi and Michaela have the success they are having and the path your on as well as planning and organizing is amazing to me becasue you balance very well in which that is where a lot of entertainers , groups, etc fall short. They go the path that the record company’s push them into and what matters the most falls short and sometimes devestating. So again we love the Mona Lisa Twins and keep it coming and STAY GROOVY!!

Thanks David! well put! My other problem? Chedder Cheese and crakers! Like you said…not a pound is good. ….LOL..

Hang in David, I feel you, when I was working? I was up at 3:30am and starting at 5am and finishing at 5 and going to pick up Maddie from Daycare and getting my second wind and then crashing at 9 so your correct no time for any walking or excersise. I also made a bet with my son who got married in July that I would loose 20 lbs by his wedding and fell short by 2 lbs. LOL…

Thanks Roger and Jacki! When I was working, losing weight was the last thing on my mind and all I worried about was working and came home and crashed especially in the winter. I was a work a holic and ate what ever and did not blink an eye, but at 64 years old things are different. I want to be around for my little Maddie and want to enjoy the Mona and Lisa music for ever. Again I still have a way to go, I was 240 lbs in April and now I am at 205 lbs and my goal is to be under 200 lbs and maybe get to 190 lbs in 2023. My way of losing? I walk. Some days 3 miles some days 7 miles depending on what my day has before me and I walk right after Maddie catches the bus at 8am so I have a window of opportunity to walk and still attend the things I have to do. Along with my walks I have cut back some what on what I eat, remember I did not care when I was working, eating dounets, fast food, candy, junk food….so i have not cut these out compleley but cut back, my biggest problem? Chocolate, I love chocolate.

I agree Jacki, MLT are on it for sure. My internet service from time to time is tricky. Like I always say, anything from Mona and Lisa is worth waiting for.

Thanks David, I thought so. Just making sure it was not on my end in which at times it is.
Take care

I agree Roger, I just recieved my package today. And love all the things that was included but to me? Other than the album? Are the signatures of Mona and Lisa! That is gold to me, they actually signed them, wow! I have been telling my mail person about this package and when she got to my house she was tooting the horn, so I knew it came today! LOL… So like you Roger? I am heading to my room with my head set and listen to Why. Why you ask? WHY NOT! LOL…

Oh my your so right Jung, they both create such a great guitar lead and Lisa seems to take most leads, while Mona has her moments with leads such as I should of Known Better, She’s a woman, etc…Lisa has a special touch and is so smooth with her leads and slide guitar as well. I have mentioned on previous posts that I wonder for Eric Clapton or Ronnie Wood or Keith Richards have seen or heard of the Mona Lisa Twins and the fantastic musical ability’s they both have. I stand by my words, no one covers the Beatles like Mona and Lisa and other classic songs. I do have XM radio and listen to the Beatles Channel a lot and I get sick to my stomach listening to some of the covers out there. Mona and Lisa capture the essence of the song and never take it away, they breathe new life in to classics.

Daryl, David , Jung and Jacki, Wow thanks for replying! So cool stories to share. I know my oldest son loves Mona and Lisa’s cover of Lola, and Africa. To me I just love meeting people who have never heard of the twins and the expression on their faces when they do hear the music and or utube video’s. I have said this many times before and I am sure you all have seen my posts , but I don’t think we will ever see anyone like the Mona Lisa Twins in my life time. They are the whole package, talent, brilliant, down to earth, friendly and lovely and true ladies and I consider them and Pa Rudi and Michela first class people. They have it right and don’t sway away from what they are her to do and that is a musical journey that we all are blessed to be a part of. My wish is someday not only me but all of us can see them live in person and concert. Until then I will stay groovy and love the MLT Club and you all.

Jung, great post. My earliest Memory is watching them on the Ed Sullivan show and remember my dad saying…quote They will never last…LOL..Love my dad, and just loved hearing and seeing them perform. And I know for a fact that I will be the same way if and when I ever see Mona and Lisa in person or concert!!

Johnnypee,
Yes sir a whole new world for sure. On my walk tomorrow I will do that with the Orange Album. I noticed that in my car Lisa is on the right speaker and Mona is on the left speaker. And yes I did hear guitars bouncing from one side to the other which is so cool. I first learned about Stereo back in 1971 when I bought the Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers Album and my mother had just bought a new STEREO system and I was taken hearing Brown Sugar guitar riff in one speaker and the sax solo on the other speaker and then I heard Can’t you hear me Knocking, wow Keith Richards on one speaker with the riffs and Mick Taylor on the other speaker…So hearing Mona and Lisa with ear buds or head phones truly shows the talent that they have! It is so cool they love and talent that they have!
