So true Jacki, here in the USA big corporations own radio stations and the DJ’S Don’t have much say so on songs, and the worst part is? It is the same selection of songs everyday. And the artist they play have more than the selection we hear everyday. I feel Mona and Lisa and Pa And Michele have the right path and this to me leads to a long journey we all we be on with them and not a shot in the dark like some acts turn out to be

I have Sirus XM radio and I was sooo excited when I heard a Mona Lisa Song on the Beatle channel! But Lisa is right, to go the route of a big label company etc is so expensive and the path they are on right now with their own Destiney is the right path to go on.

  • Everyone,

So to me? Early Motown music and late 50 and early 60’s music got me but the Beatles were the first ones for me then the Rolling Stones and then Elvis. Thru that time I listened to Dylan, Birds, Ma Ma and the Pa Pa’s, and for a short period I was into the Archies. I know your probably laughing but I really got into them….LOL…Band Shang A Lang, Sugar Sugar , Truck Driver, Jingle Jangle …..then I got into the 5TH Dimension. But the early 70’s took me to Rod Stewart and the Faces, Joe Cocker. And of course the Solo Careers of the Beatles.

Dont worry Jacki, we will make sure you get to see the Mona Lisa Twins if we all have to put you on our shoulders!! LOL…Me and my wife saw Grand Funk Railroad back in 1974 and she is short as well so I had her on my shoulders the entire concert! So we will make sure you will see the twins as well!! I know that if we do get a chance to see them live? It will be the best concert ever! I am speaking from 12 times of seeing the Rolling Stones so I know they will be just as awesome live!!

    Jung.

For me? It starts with Revolution and The Last Time, these are the ones that drew me in. And then When I am 64, my god the guitar parts they do between the two of them is perfect. But so many my goodness…Two of Us, This boy is Mine, Wide Wide Land, Friend of mine, Best Years of our Lives, All I want for Christmas, Walking in the Air….I better stop…LOL…SORRY But the quality and love they put into their music makes it hard to just pick one….

I Agree Jacki, I know the Mona Lisa Twins will do a great job on this song. It will master their wonderful Voices and how beautiful they sound together!! Of course the wimp I am, I will make sure I have tissues handy!! I know it will bring tears to my eyes hearing how beautiful they can can sing!!

  • I did see Let It Be when it first came out in 1970 but was hoping it would come out on DVD and love watching this seeing them all in the studio together and like so many was hoping they would be back together someday.

OMG, I Love Who’s on First sketch. When I managed my younger son’s baseball team back in the day….LOL..We had qualified for the playoffs and we were the last seed. So my team was nervous and stressed out thinking they were going to get beat so I took the team home to my house and put this sketch on and told the team to relax and have fun and watch this sketch, well the team loved it and we ended up winning it all. Thanks for posting this, brought back great memories of that team.

If you do? I know that it will be beautiful and lovely with your voices. You both blend so well and so in tune with each others voice. All your songs are top notch and one that sticks in my mind is The Best Days of our Life video with just the two of you with your guitars and harmonica. As always, it will be worth the wait!

    Lisa , Brian and Jacki,

Thanks so much. I know I go on at times with how much I love the Mona Lisa Twins and their music and vision , but no kidding I have to hear or watch each day and my best time is on the way home, my car still has a cd player in it and I have all the CD’S In my back pack and pull one out each day on the way home from work and it completes my day. Also My little Maddie as she is getting her shower, puts the Mona Lisa Twins music on and sings along with them. It is so nice and beautiful to listen to. She loves The Wide Wide Land and This Boy is Mine and Did you ever have to make up your mind with John Sabastaian , so yes Lisa she is a light in our lives!!!

    Ron,

I hope you get yours soon. I figured it took 3 weeks to get to me here in the USA. But such a cool gift for sure. My Birthday is in March and love the picture for that month. Just having fun and it reminds me of their video Two Of Us when on one shot when they were little they had a diaper on their heads!! So fun and cute. Also I like the history details on certain dates. Like on this month March 18 is dated for the move to Liverpool in 2014. Keep us posted Ron and while we are waiting, I will sing ….Wait….Wait a minute Mr. Postman for you!! LOL…
