Thanks Johnnypee,
Yes it is so cool! I very patiently waited and it was worth the wait. How cool is it that they autographed it as well!! To me? That is gold in my eyes. These ladies have it together so well and it is awesome to know that they are on the right path in their journey and so kind to take us along. Joynnypee I have to be honest, i started jumping up and down with excitement when this arrived today. I felt like a kid at Christmas, I know it is just a calendar but it came from Mona and Lisa and that made my day!!! LOL..

Your so right, that is a very tight spot to work in and glad they don’t bump into each other. But again this album is so good and done with the perfect play list and engenerring form Pa Pa. And the videos posted from that perfomance is so cool. Also the drummer and bass player were faboulus it helped raise the bar which Mona and Lisa already raised even higher.

Hi Mona,
I Was hoping you and Lisa had a chance to relax, you indeed have a very busy 2020 for sure. I had 12 days off between Christmas and New Years and had time to spend with Maddie and played board games and played in the snow making snow angels and sled riding, we are lucky our back yard has a good slope to it for fun sled riding! So yes 2021 is here and for me? I see the finish line for me to retire after 44 years on my job with the same company since I graduated in 1977. So looking forward to that and I promised Maddie we would get a dog when I retire, so someone can be here thru out the day to make sure it is not left alone for a long period of time. And of course waiting to see what the Mona Lisa Twins are up to and the journey your taking us on, well worth the wait. Thank you so much for your love and support of your music, it is a everday part of my life.

Hi Jung,
So glad to hear your playing piano, that is on my bucket list, would love to learn how to play. I am like you, after I got married in 1979 and the kids started coming around 1982, i kind of fell off my bike with music and was in and out for qutie a while but when i saw Mona and Lisa do Revolution and the Last Time on U TUBE back in 2017 I never looked back and was just about in tears seeing these 2 wonderful talented ladies cover the music that I grew up with and love and then to hear their originals? Wow I knew these ladies were something special and only come around once in life just like the Beatles and Elvis in my book, so I am totaly imersed with their sound and music and sooooooo glad I am a member of this wonderful club to meet people like you and Jacki and others and to be a part of their jouney that they are allowing us to be a part of. And as I always say, what ever project they are up too? It is worth the wait and so pleasing to see how talented they are and they have the worlds greatest support with Pa Pa and Michelle!!! Love It !!

So True Jacki and Thomas glad you got your copy. It is so cool that we have this album, the best thing to be in the crowd, and I do feel like I am right there. And the play list is perfect to me, covers and originals is put together so well.

Mona and Lisa, I am so happy your on path your on. I have said in the past that these days it seems record company presser acts to put music out for the stock holders and in some cases? It is usually not a good choice and not what the artist wants so doing what you both are doing along with pa pa and michelle is point on. It is called longevity and sucess and love for your craft. My hats off to you all at MLT and so gald I am a club member.

Hello Serge ,
What a great post, I would love to see the Mona Lisa Twins cover Elvis. I have grouped them with Elvis in covering songs and making them their own. Elvis did it so well and so do the twins. For me? I would love them to cover If I can Dream. Such a great song for Elvis in his 1968 come back special and I know if they did cover this song? It will be awesome!

Jung,
The Mona Lisa verson So this is Christmas has a B E Taylor sound to it, fun and exciting. B E Had a way of taking Christmas Songs and put a cool sound to it.

Well put my friend, thanks for your post. Yes one can say he is losing his voice, and it does happen at one point. I kind of felt this way when he did Caus and creation in the back yard 2004, but here is my thought , As you all know I am a Rolling Stones Fan, well at one time they were labeled the Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band, dating from 1968 to 1972, And they were ( in my book and I know that is up for talk ) and when they toured the US in 1972 promoting their album Exile On Main Street, They were on top of their game. BUT in 1973 they were tired and came out with Goats Head Soup Album and the hit was Angie…..OMG REALLY? Coming off a huge tour and this is the follow up?? Well the critics had a field day and to me? I ended up loving the album. So my point is as with Sir Paul, yes they were on top of their game, but to be still doing what they are doing at this point in time of their lives? Is awesome to me, yes not the same vocals, writing , etc….but I learned they go with the times maybe , meaning the music world , I know the Rolling Stones did a Blues Album a few years ago, is it like Exile ? Not even close but the jucies are still there for them to keep it going. Some people argue that the Stones should of stopped when they did exile becasue of the title they were given as the Worlds Greatest Rock and Roll Band, but they muddled thru and still came out with good music. And with Sir Paul? People argue he should of stopped after Wings, but he still went on with good music. So I know this is a lot of gibber but as a music lover of the Beatles and the Stones? I do enjoy what they put out. To point on more? John Lennon’s watching the wheels go round and round? Wow how cool is that song years after the Beatles? Such a genus of a song writer and perfomer.

No problem Lisa, you both have been so super busy. But this album is so good, and I listen to one side one day and the other side another day. But I want to point out how much energy and love is felt thru this album. The one thing I love is to hear how you both support each other. I mean that when Mona is doing a lead , I hear Lisa yell out ” Go Mona ” As I hear on You Can’t do that, and Mona yelling “Go Lisa ” AS heard on This Boy, and others, so that tells me that you both support each other no matter who is on the lead and you make it so fun to listen to and just enjoy. I pointed this out before but the chemistry you both have together is so awesome, I can’t say thank you enough for sharing your talents with us!

Oh yea and did the ladies get the strings they asked for?
-
I Sent Mona and Lisa a Ask Mona and Lisa question a while back and it was about how well they are together , meaning they playing, singing, and song writing, and Lisa answered back to me with the obvious that they are twins, and that is a huge part but she also said they know each other so well and can play off each other. So Paul and John are not twins, but they had the same concept of knowing each other and what each other likes etc….The Beatles are the best hands down in pop music, rock music , ballads, fun songs, message songs etc….and Mona and Lisa have the same chemistry , and to me that is so awesome.

I Am up for chipping in, anyone else?
