So true, one of my favorite Neil Young song too, I remember when this song was released in 1972 and it is just as great today as it was back in 72. But I know when you and Mona decide to cover this song, it will be amazing.

Lisa,
Thanks for getting back to me, got to say, the leads are awesome and the drumming is perfect. I am a drummer myself and can feel the energy of this song. You ladies do such a great job on covers it is amazing!!

Refugio and David and Michael and others,
Great posts! I do love the camera work to see how they both play their instruments and cords etc. Again they take a song from 1963 and make it today in 2020, so wonderful they can do that and let us know, hey we got this and stay groovy during these crazy times we are in right now.

LOL…Today is Halloween in the USA and guess what song I Woke up today? Time of the Season! So fitting for today huh? And this song is so cool because it has that Jose Felicano feel to it with the guitar solos!!!

This song proves that they can write and perform great music, again we are all blessed to be sharing this journey with the MLT!

Great responses everyone,
Jung I can relate about the work commute, but for me my trip is longer and that is good because I can go thru an entire album by the Mona Lisa Twins on the way home. Johnny , Jackie and Jim and Refgio I am with you on the singing and guitar ( air ) and drums. I was coming home yesterday and listening to the first Beatles and more CD and I was really into it when Revolution came on and singing along with Mona and just loving the solo guitar from Lisa that people in their cars where looking at me smiling and giving me a thumbs up!! LOL…Great way to go into the weekend after a long work week!

I agree, this album was ok for me, yes a couple of songs I would cut
Revolution #9
Helter Skelter
That is it for me really but great question

I would love to see a duo session on this song. That is what I picture Lisa and Mona just chilling out singing this song with a fireplace and a back ground of fall and a lake. But this song is so well done it is amazing how talented they are and how much love and heart to put into their songs. This is not a one it wonder group, they are in it for the run and doing it the right way God bless them both.

Agree Jacki,
And when they end a song? It is amazing to me, they end together and not one playing an extra note, just fun to watch. These ladies have it together for sure and they keep getting better all the time! Got to admit it is getting better all the time….Sorry had to throw that in.

Great News for sure! Congrats Mona and Lisa!! Love it.

No matter who is doing the lead singing or lead what ever? They both play off each other so well and the music just flows so wonderful. And when it comes to rocking out? Revolution, The Last Time, For What its Worth just to name a few? Wow the energy is fantastic. Can you imagine seeing them in concert? I will be honest…I will be jumping out of my skin with such happiness and joy.

David,
Great Question but I felt Lisa or Mona would give you that answer. That song on the Orange Album is so great to listen too. It makes you want to get up and dance and have a good time. With the world in a crazy time, that song takes it all away and takes you back to a time that we all know and love.

All great responses everyone and so many good points! Funny thing? For years I thought the Beatles version was the only version of Till There Was You, but found out when my son had the lead role that it came from the musical. So he and the lead lady started singing this in the part of the show, I had the Beatles version in my head….LOL…We are all on the same page knowing that Mona and Lisa cover songs and make them their own and in some cases if not all cases In my opinion? Is better.

Michael,
I am kind of a classic rock guy myself, but do love the 60’s and early 70’s. Of course the Beatles and the Stones are right up there but do enjoy so much other music as well. One cool song I really like is This Guys in Love with You, by Herb Albert but then love to rock out on Brown Sugar or Tumbling Dice or Get Back. So playing the drums, I get this great feeling while I am playing and it just lifts my spirit and I just love playing and singing. I am sure Mona and Lisa would agree, there is something special when your playing for an audenice

Lynn,
Thanks for this update, and I am like you all, i have a play list of the Mona Lisa Twins and play it everyday at some point. I do love this song If I fell and this is along one of the songs that brought me to the MLT and as I Always say, I never looked back. Their Music inspires me and makes me know that hey in this crazy world we live in right now, they are saying come along for the ride and let the NO WORRYS COMPANY Do the rest!!
