Thank you Mona for replying. I can understand . The fab four has so many songs to cover. The coolest thing about Ask the Mona Lisa Twins segment is that we actually get to chat with you both!!! That is so cool, to talk to you both. Hope you both are well and enjoy your Sunday!!

Jung,
Hello and love your posts!!! So many to pick from but Am going back a bit and say Mr. Postman, I know it is a cover but John does a great job singing this one and another one again a cover is You Really Got a hold on me. John in the early days was hands down the man his voice was so cool to listen to and when they did Help? That was John at his finest in my book. God I really miss him….

Ok so you all know mine…LOL..
Ronnie Wood
Keith Richard
Glen Campbell
Steve Miller
And yes…Mona and Lisa…. I am being honest, they both are fabulous on the guitar. They give all the others a run for their money.

So true and that Video of them playing that song live? Wow how great it is to watch them both jam their hearts out and have fun and smiling at each other, it gives you such a good feeling knowing this is coming from their heart and soul and not just singing to get by.
Lisa thank you for reaching out to me and yes your music is a huge part of my life each day, no lie I can not call it a day if I do not hear or watch a video.

Jacki,
Spot on my friend. Great episode. Helen Reddy was a huge singer in the 70’s. such a sweet voice and loved to hear her sing I Am Woman. She opened the door for so many female artists back in the day.

Lisa does take lead guitar work above and beyond, How about Till There Was You? George Harrison would be so proud to hear the lead on this song.

Well put Jung and again Mona and Lisa are in a handful of musicians that can cover a song and do it better that the original. They do breathe new life into songs and do it very well

Awesome Job Mark! Well done and this is one of my favorites from the Orange Album

Thank you Lisa for getting back to me. You hit it right on with Count on Me, That one appears to be one that you both sat down and just did that one in one take. Funny thing I just listened to Nothing In Vain on the way home, such a great tune.

I agree, so sad to lose a great one. Back in the day there was a show called Midnight Special that aired Friday nights back in the early 1970’s I want to say 1972. This show highlighted groups and their newest songs. I believe John Denver hosted the first show but Helen Reedy became a regular host for a few years. Her voice is like Karen Carpenter so smooth and beautiful.

Spot on buddy, Orange album is a very very good album that I never get tired of listening to. My hats off to the MLT and papa and Michelle for putting a quality album for us to enjoy. I too listen to the entire album, when one song is done, I Have the next song already in my mind to listen to. And the sequence of songs is perfect to me and ending with Friend of Mine is perfect!
This just tells us that the next project will be handled the same way as Orange and again it is worth the wait! I feel like a kid when we get a post from them about an early access to music, i feel like I am the first kid on my block to enjoy!! LOL….

This Boy is Mine is such a classic to me, the video is awesome to say the least. The lead guitar that Lisa does is Steller to me, and the same with Mona on the rhythm guitar. But the lead guitar to me is equal to the greats like Eric Clapton , Keith Richard, Ronnie Wood etc…
