The beauty of this song is simply how Mona and Lisa put it together and the way how we can all see the cords Mona is playing! My goodness I can not get over how nice Mona and Lisa did this song. I first heard it in 1975 and loved it ever since but hearing it done in 2020 shows you and all of us how talented the Mona Lisa Twins are and how they breathe new life in the music that you want to hear it again and again !!!

Another great topic my friend, Clour my world was played at our Wedding Song back in 1979. Piano is fabulous and that song was huge in the 1970’s for sure.

Great question ! I love And I love her by the Beatles, such beautiful lyrics and guitar playing. One that I always sing to my wife Nancy at Karaoke!

I agree Jeffrey, here in Pittsbugh PA he played at Heinz Hall since 1997 and we went every year to hear him and it kicked off the holiday for us. So sad he is gone. His son B C carried the show until last year and did a great job. But with B E Not there it was so sad but give B C a ton of credit to carry the show

Great Replies to this topic everyone. I first heard One back in 1969 on vacation with my family and went to the dance hall to hear music and this was the first song I heard walking into the building. And they had a string of hits till 1974 with The Show Must Go on song. I seen them 3 years ago ( with out Chuck who passed away I Believe ) and they did a great job and sounded fantastic after all these years!

Lisa,
Coming to work this morning I got to thinking. Will you still love me tomorrow would not be a MLT Music, I apologize for making that suggestion. This falls into the category of words and realizing that does not fit in to the MLT Vision . So I am sorry for making that suggestion. But again thanks for getting back to me and as you and Mona say? Stay Groovy!!! Have a great day!

Yes that is him! Feel The Love of Christmas is a gem of a song with the melody and guitar work from Rick Witkowski B E Taylor long time friend and song writer. His shows always put you in the spirit of Christmas and a lot of fun too.

Thanks for getting back to me Lisa! Funny part is when i posted this i was thinking of You got a friend. But I can understand the concept of her music. Another one I had in mind was Will You Still Love me Tomorrow? Would that be a possible duo session??

I am with you on Count on Me, such a beautiful song and one that I love very much. Also I love The Wide Wide Land and the video that goes with that song. but so many pick from ….geez very hard one to pick

Both Groups have made their mark in Music History in my book, filled with great song writing and talent. I do believe that their Music will go on and on. One thing with the Beach Boys is their Christmas Music, not Christmas unless I hear a Beach Boy Tune and with MLT music? They are a part of my Christmas Music in my household. With the music being said of going on and on? I honestly feel a lot of talent today will not have that mark in music history. I do believe Mona and Lisa will be with us for quite a long time due to their love and spirit and good decision making with their careers! Thank god for these talented ladies!!

So my 2 cents here on song of the day? Darlin by the Beach Boys. 1968….a great tune for sure. Not played to much on the radio which is sad to me. Anyone else like this tune??

Got to say singing helps me a lot and and it lifts my spirts after a crazy day at the job. But I do understand anyone not comfortable in public. My music director at church tells us to look above everyones head and try not to look at anyone if your not comfortable. But these ladies know how to sing and it is pretty cool to pretend to sing with them….LOL….i guess I am trying to stay Groovy!!

Jung and Robert,
Wow my feelings the same. I do not see any talent today that can stack up to Mona and Lisa. For example, Jung you posted For what it worth from the Club , that alone tells anyone that these ladies can rock the roof off, what a great combination, Mona pushing the vocals and Lisa tearing it up on Lead Guitar, and the same with Revolution, oh and how about Mona on The Last Time? Man if that does not tell you how talented these ladies are , I don’t know what to say. Also the Orange Album is a masterpiece in my book. Great drumming, great Guitar work, amazing singing, songwriting…etc….and the way the songs line up from the first track to Still a friend of mine is absolutely perfect, and with the song as the final track? It leaves you wanting more. I love that album, and as I said before…just love Count on Me. But in terms of talent of guitar? They both do a great job. I have mentioned before I am hoping the big Names like Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards etc know about these ladies. My day is not complete unless I hear The MLT !

I agree with you all, very hard to pick a favorite for sure, i just picked Two of Us because of the video’s of them as baby’s to grown up ladies. But I do love Bus Stop as well and Wide Wide land , just love seeing their grandmother , reminds me of my grand mother. But I love all the different responses. I Do have to admit, I love all of them to be honest….LOL…

Sticky Fingers
Exile On Main Street

Its only Rock and Roll

Ohh La La
Nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse
Smiler
Every Picture tells a Story
These albums to me are classic and the songs still stand the time , I do lean towards the Late 6o’s and Early 70’S
