Also with the world in the shape it is in right now, and the elections for President this year, listening to this album makes it all go away and Like I mentioned one other time the Mona Lisa Twins are the real deal and I have high hopes of them being around for quite some time. I also mentioned I feel the Mona Lisa Twins have this and come along for the ride because no other groups can do this and they are a gem.

Great responds everyone. I can understand not singing so it drowns out the Twins. But I feel like I am right there with them singing…LOL…but today? I had the CD When were together , the first album of originals, I just listened and enjoyed the ride home and let the Mona Lisa Twins take the days stress away.

1958 was a good year my friend….LOL…But my little Maddie keeps me young and besides it is a number to me, I Feel great and listening to the Mona Lisa twins keeps me young with their Music and spirit! As they say…STAY GROOVY and believe me I do. And funny you bring this up, coming home today i had the Duo Sessions on and singing a long makes me feel great. I am a tenor and there are certain songs i can keep up with Mona and Lisa but there are songs I have to use my falsetto voice…LOL…but singing makes me feel great and I move and groove with the twins as they give us their god given talents with voice and their instruments!!!

I sing in our church choir and our director was playing the original version of Walking In The Air and it was a beautiful song to me and the video on U Tube is great and when I received the Christmas CD and seen the Mona Lisa twins did it, i went to the song immediately and was blown away! Needles to say this is better than the original in my book. And the opening track All I want Christmas to Be, my goodness that is Christmas to me and it is a beautiful Track. Also thank you both for the great version of Santa Baby, I love your version over the original, it is light hearted and fun better than what the original version is made out to be. But that is me I guess…LOL…

    Jung,

I have to say the lead guitar parts that both Mona and Lisa do on the songs is beyond greatness, for example Still My Guitar gently weeps,  Eric Clapton has to be proud, I mean note for note and how about Hotel California, wow and You Can’t do that? Excellent lead guitar solo’s. And drums? Wow how about Club 27, White Room….just to name a few. Jung I know you are with me as many club members in saying that the Mona Lisa Twins are special and I don’t think I will ever see another group as good as the Twins and I am enjoying every video, song , CD and this club. I do not listen to my radio anymore, I put a CD on each day and it makes my day! keep it coming Ladies!!! Jung you offer great conversation my friend keep those great ideas and posts coming. I am not very good at trying to copy and post things but I am going to have my little Maddie show me how, I Would love to show you all a picture of Me and Maddie singing Wide Wide Land…..Oh and David, Howard and Joseph thank you all to for the great information you all post!!!!

    Jung,

Thanks for the shout out on the job. I have been very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and I Have been surrounded by good people. Although I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel here in a year or so. Funny story I tell and to be there that long? It is hard to hit a moving target!! LOL…Which leads me to a point…..and that is the Mona Lisa Twins, they have been doing this since they were very young and from what I can see? They will be around for quite some time. So with some artists or groups in the past say 60 years? The average career goes from 3 to 6 years and you never see them again for what ever reason. And I have pointed out in the past the these ladies and pap and Michelle are on the right course in handling the music and making good solid decisions. Not being forced to put something out there to please the stock holders etc in the recording industry. But there are exceptions to the rule and The Beatles, The Rolling Stones etc have done it and continue to do so. Another reason I am proud to be a club member to see their vision thru and continue to bring happiness to all of our lives each and every day. God Bless The Mona Lisa Twins!!!

    Jacki,

Point taken my friend, but if you do get a chance? Pull Winter up and like Lisa said, listen to the lead by Mick Taylor, on the thought….another great song The Stones do and no one would believe it Moonlight Mile from Sticky Fingers 1971, the strings at the end of this song is fabulous.

    Jung,

In reading this I thought of Dust in the Wind by Kansas 1978, and kind of a religious song maybe? But time is so fast these days. All my kids are grown up and I have Maddie who is 7 now and so hard to believe how fast time goes by, I have been at the same job for 43 years now and it seems like yesterday that I first started. So as a Rolling Stones fan and Mona and Lisa fan? All can come up with is The Last Time….sorry….LOL

How about Carole King? She wrote and co wrote a ton of songs in the 60’s. And her killer album Tapestry. 1971. I Did pose this question to Mona and Lisa to see if they would consider covering any of her songs.

    Jung,

Again, great question. Tie between the Beatles and more 3 because of how they are smiling and having a good time, and The Orange Album again seeing what was involved in making the cover was awesome. So how cool is that with Papa and Michelle in on making that cover? Wow that says so much for why we all love the Mona Lisa Twins, it is a group effort and to see the love and fun they all have for each other is awesome and reminds me of yester year when my kids little and how we did everything together! But I do love the Duo Sessions album and again all the work and effort in putting that together is wonderful! Thanks Jung and Howard and Joseph for your great efforts in the club!!!And the rest of the club members.
