Mona and Lisa and Joshua ,
Ever since I found Mona and Lisa back in 2018, I can not begin to tell you how much they have played a part in my life with their music and love and spirit. Not getting to much into it, I have been faced with substance abuse within our family, losing people you love, work etc…..and when I listen to their music and watch the u tube video’s it reminds me that these ladies are a gift from god and we are blessed to witness their craft. I thank god each day for the Mona Lisa Twins and do not know how I can get thru each day if I do not hear their lovely voices and music. Thank you Josh for sharing and Mona and Lisa thank you for making me a happy person when I listen to your music!

Great subject so please let me know if anyone choose Little Red Riding Hood? And I am sure Wild Horses ? Sorry if I missed these ones. But a great topic for sure and just throwing this one out there for Mona and Lisa? Maybe a Duo Version of Wild Horses?

Jung and club members,
So here is my take, what act or group, does what these ladies do? Only a handful, and let me explain what I mean. They can rock the roof off the house, Johnny B Good, Club 27, Lola, Revolution, For whats it worth…etc….ok? Then great songs like Bring us the change, Sweet Lorraine, That’s life, When Were Together…etc..ok then lovely songs like Wide Wide Earth, Still a friend of mine, Count on me…etc…Ok. My point is, they can do it all from Rocking it out to fun songs to lovely songs. Some groups can only do one thing only but not Mona and Lisa can do it all in my book. So how can you not love the Mona Lisa twins!!!!!

Jung,
Yes very fortunate to see them 8 different times. Seen them in Cleveland Ohio in 1978 for the Some Girls tour with Ron Wood and wow what a show. So if you follow my shout outs to Mona and Lisa I do talk about Ron Wood and his slide guitar work, and Lisa is right up there with him and Dwane Almond. And Mona does a great job Rocking out on her vocals, heck listen to Revolution and The Last time….man can she belt it out!!! Jung i have said it before but these ladies are the best and what a great positive spirit they both have and love for their craft. The world is not in a good place with the Virus and here in the USA voting for President and when I got home today? i had the Orange Album on and we need to listen to the Twins and give it to the NO MORE WORRIES COMPANY!!
Mona and Lisa if you see this? We all adore you and we are blessed to have you share your gift with all of us, keep it coming and Stay Groovy!!!

I am with you all I love to see Sweet Lorraine and Count on Me ( my favorite ) so we all know that when the time is right? These ladies will deliver and you can bet it will be a great video. I feel Count on Me is such a wonderful song , and yep….I sing along with it word for word!!! LOL…But the Duo version of Sweet Lorraine is a classic for the twins for sure, but hey guys? What about a video on Club 27? Any thoughts?

Agree Jung, Lynn had me going there for a minute….LOL….Good one Lynn….LOL

Great points everyone, as a hard core Stones fan, I seen them on their Exile On Main Street tour in July of 1972 and the warm up was …..ready? Stevie Wonder! What an awesome show to say indeed. But total times is 8 different times and the last one was in 2015. And some would dare to say that Exile on Main Street was the best LP. But again a hard core fan? Yes it was a great LP but so was Goats Head Soup and IT’s only Rock and Roll etc…..Although I must say 1967 was a down year for both the Beatles and the Stones, just my opinion but from 1968 thru 1978 the Stones did make their mark in the 1970’s. So what my point is here? Look at the Mona Lisa Twins career , really have they put out anything that was less than lets say….quality? So in my book, these ladies and dad and step mom have it all together, own record label, and in control of their destiny. So they are not forced to put music out just to put it out. As I always say….their music and video’s are worth waiting for guys. Record companys pressure artist and groups to put music out in a certain time frame for stock holders etc….so Mona and Lisa have always put out great music either original or covers you know your getting quality music. I said it before the talent these lades have is off the charts. And I feel confident that their career will last well into the future. Really the vocals, Instruments , humor and honest to goodness love of their art is so nice to witness in this crazy world , my day is not complete unless I hear these wonderful ladies sing! I just wish I Could see them live in concert, and that will make my day like it did back in 1972 seeing the Stones as a matter of fact I know I will be more happy to see them in concert and I will be like a kid a Christmas opening presents!!! LOL…Oh yea today on my way home from work I had the Christmas Album On and Loved every minute of it!!!

Jung,
Great shout out on the Stones 1974 Classic Time Waits for No one. And Mick Taylor did a fabulous Job on the lead. So true Time marches on. So we need to embrace time and enjoy it to the fullest. I remember 1974 like it was yesterday. As mentioned above Time is on my side , etc…all good choices for sure. So back to Time Waits for No One, Jung can you imagine this song being done by the Mona Lisa twins? I know it will be gold in my book if they ever cover this tune for sure.

Sorry Timothy , a shout out to you on a cool question! Again Mona Lisa are laughing at all of this I am sure. Thank You for the correction Jacki, this is so great to chat with you all and to share a common ground of loving The Mona Lisa Twins and what they do! So here in the USA it is 8:52 pm so I guess I should of paid more attention in school but what time is it for you all?? Just wondering….LOL..

Jung and Jacki and Mona and Lisa,
Today on the way home I had the first Mona Lisa CD covering the Beatles and again trying to sing along …LOL….But my god you both do such an amazing job. For instance, Revolution Mona sings her heart out and Lisa tears it up on the lead Guitar, I am in traffic swaying back and forth and when it was over? I yelled out loud…YEA!!! THEN the song that grabbed me in 2018 and never looked back The Last Time, again Mona rocking on the vocals and Lisa on lead. This past weekend, we had a cookout and my son pulled up his cell phone with music and guess what the first one was? Lola …yep Lola and then I went in and pulled out the CD’S and we listened to the Orange Album and my son loves Club 27, and I agree such a rocker of a tune that stands up against any classic rock band in my book! So our typical day this past weekend was family and Mona Lisa Twins!!! But great idea Jacki about doing a video of singing along with you ladies but my bucket list wish is to play my drums with the both of you doing For what its worth, after seeing the performance in the Club I want to rock out on my drums with that song!!! Jung, how can you not sing along with the Mona Lisa Twins? And my little Maddie sends her love. I will send a picture of her to you all once I learn how to do it….LOL…

Well here goes…as a father of 3, one daughter and 2 sons and a fabulous grand daughter Maddie, sorry guys no way can I Choose Lisa over Mona or Mona over Lisa. SORRY I Can not choose. They both are wonderful and in their own way they make the Mona Lisa Twins what it is. They both play off each other like I mentioned in another shout out on how they do what Keith Richard and Mick Taylor and Ron wood do playing together , they are so tight and know when to come in and take a lead and riffs etc…and as twins? They are one in my book. So probably not what you all was looking for, but to answer the Beatle pool? Early on It was John but shifted to Paul but George was up there as well so see, how hard it is to choose? LOL…But this is fun for sure and I am sure Mona and Lisa are getting a kick out of this for sure. Great question Jackie thanks!

Jung and Mona and Lisa,
Here in the USA, the virus was getting better but took a turn for the worst in some states and school and outdoor concerts and activity’s are being pushed back or canceled. So hard times for sure in the USA, BUT as Jung mentioned, I feel the same. I thank god every day for the Mona Lisa Twins and the club. It makes my day better and knowing that you two are in in it and saying stay groovy makes it so much easier to get by. I am still working and on my way home I pick one CD to play on my way home and I feel so much better listening and singing along, I am a tenor and I can sing with you both but sometimes I have to back out on the falsettos ….LOL…Yesterday I had the Orange Album on and just love You can count on me because I can count on the Mona Lisa Twins to make things right in this crazy world. So in short my typical day is listening to the Mona Lisa Twins and catching up with the club. I have a 7 year old Grand Daughter who lives with us and she loves you both as well and loves Wide Wide Land and Two of us!!! Her name is Maddie and she also helps brighten up our days. She is a sweetie! So take care twins and Jung you as well my friend!

Member21/07/2020 at 14:53 in reply to: Sweet Lorraine who sings lead vocals on the songI agree Jung, Walking on Air is a beautiful song that only Lisa and Mona can do! I always liked the original version of this beautiful song but the twins made it so much nicer and has that holiday feeling. So maybe we will see one for Christmas in 2020. What do you think Ladies? Could this be in our stockings for Christmas?? LOL…

All great choices everyone, awesome. The beauty is, these ladies are so talented and gifted that there is so much in front of them that they can cover and do is absolutely fabulous. And knowing the work ethic and love and spirt that they have is well worth waiting for because we know it will be quality and they will make it their own, i have stated before there are only a handful of musicians that can cover songs and make them their own and one in mind for me is Elvis. The Mona Lisa Twins are in that fold and I love hearing their next video and project. Keep it coming ladies and what ever project your working on will be well worth the wait!
