Cool. I haven’t watched the clips yet but I assume the bricks are glued together?.
I can’t imagine them holding together once the strings get tensioned otherwise.
And I wonder how they join the neck to the body. Will have a closer look after work.

You don’t have to convince me we need guitar heroes Jung. As I type this Van Halen in playing on the radio, very apt.
That Washington Post article is out of date now I reckon though. Guitar sales took off with the Covid lockdowns. I certainly did my share in boosting them!
Gibson are tracking well now under new leadership. Fender and PRS also selling heaps.

I’ve been away for a while so just catching up.
I posted in the pallet thread then edited the post to add an extra sentence, and after a minute or so the comments had disappeared.

Lyrics are A3 Jung.
These are just cheapy frames, but they ended up looking pretty good I reckon.

I bought a frame for the poster this morning, along with a frame for the lyric sheet I bought I while ago.
Looking good, although hard to photograph with glass over the top of it!
A tip for those who are frame shopping. The web site lists the poster size as DIN A2, but here in Oz the size is called A1. Maybe DIN is a European measurement, I don’t know. Just double check when you buy a frame wherever you are in the world.

I’m getting better with the bass as my fingers and hand get stronger. It takes a lot more effort to press down those thick strings as you would well know.
It’s funny switching back to guitar, it seems effortless after playing the bass for a while 🙂
