I love VIvaldi’s “Four Seasons”. One of my favorite parts is the 1st movement of Winter. To quote an unnamed source in Google:
Its high tone is associated with ice-cold wind, freezing weather. If the snow painfully hitting one’s face during a blizzard could sound -Vivaldi’s Winter would be its sound. This melody is a representation of fast movement, a natural process so powerful that it cannot be controlled by a human.

Lisa and the ukulele. WOW

David,
I used to live in West Wendover. I started my medical career working at the clinic and on the ambulance. I love their rendition!!
-
Dana,
That was clever and funny

Hi Jurgen, I’ve been off the grid a lot lately. Once again, excellent choice. You always come up with great music!
-
Jung,
That is one bad ass car. What is it?

Great story! I always had crappy beat up cars that would break down. I think because of that PTSD, I became a leaser. I know people say that is financially unwise. It is one luxury that I allow myself to have. I get a new car every 3 years.

Hi Jung!
I’ve always loved that song along with “Hey You”. I didn’t know that interesting background about the song. I thought it was about heroin. I always learn so much from you. Thanks

Hilarious!!! Can you imagine sitting at a romantic candle lit dinner with this playing?

Christopher, I wholeheartedly agree. I think Neil Peart was a brilliant lyricist. I’m a huge Rush fan and have seen them in concert several times. Just as I’m writing this, “Natural Science” comes to mind. Without looking up the lyrics….I’m thinking ” ….wheels within wheels in a spiral array… a pattern so grand and complex…time after time we lose sight of the way…our causes can’t see their effects”. I was also thinking of Rush when I heard “Jump Ship”.
The only “romantic” song I can think of is “In The Mood”

David, Great song!! We really have a lot of the same musical tastes (cool). Did you go on your trip yet?
