Bill, That is wonderful!! I’m going to semi-retire next February while I’m still relatively young. (6 days after I turn 60). Since I’m a nurse, I can pick up occasional assignments and still take time to meet you and as many club members as I can when we go to Liverpool to see an MLT concert. You are such a kind person, I truly hope to meet you someday.

Any Vikki Carr fans? This album was in my parents very limited record collection. They thought the Beatles were a bunch of crazy hippies. So I grew up listening to show tunes, Vikki Carr, Roger Miller and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.

I love that version. I knew that Grace Slick was going to spike Richard Nixon’s drink with LSD when she was invited to the White House. What I didn’t know….Grace and Nixon’s daughter Tricia went to the same college and the invitation came from her. Grace used her real name Grace Barnett Wing and almost got in. The only problem was she brought Abbie Hoffman with her and they were denied entrance because of him.

I loved Wham! and George Michael (solo). Gotta add a few more. “Every Thing She Wants”, “Where Did Your Heart Go” and Mother’s Pride (so heart wrenching about the loss of life from war). A lot of these songs bring back amazing memories when I worked for Eastern/Continental Airlines and travelled all over the world.

Jung, I totally agree. I also love the 5th Dimension rendition of “Never My Love”

I’ve never heard that Beach Boys song (Let The Wind Blow) before. Trippy

I pretty much love all of their music. A couple of my favorites are “Love’s Lines, Angles And Rhymes” and “If I Could Reach You”

I love The 5th Dimension. Marilyn McCoo is one of my favorite vocalists.
