No real overall trend this month, as some videos are up in viewership and some are down. We do have a new champion for the moment, but Now and Then is still slowly leaking air and probably will be a bit down the list by next month.

Averaged over the past week, In It for Love is at V = 334 and C = 0.64.
-
For the last hour of November 26th, Everybody’s Talkin’ is at V = 31944 and C = 78.4.
Meanwhile, averaged over the past week, Now and Then is at V = 2391 and C = 5.81. I’m not certain, but this might be the most views any new MLT video has been getting this long after release since I started keeping score!

Neat topic, Jung! The only contribution I can think of to add is this chart-topping hit from 1956 by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, which Frankie co-wrote at age 13. (The song begins at the 2:16 mark.)
-
Averaged over the past week, for In It for Love, V = 470 and C = 0.90.

Thank you, Jacki! Meanwhile, you folks up north can feast on turkey as you celebrate the birthday of some famous (?) Canadians:

You can read all about it here:

After the Depot: Encino, New Mexico
I spend a lot of time on US Highway 60. Not only do I travel the road for work, but I often explore its lonelier byways on my days off. Hi...

I guess this would be considered a gratitude song:
-
I’ll do that, Fred! I was going to compile some end-of-year stats anyway, and I’ll add that to the list.
Generally speaking, a new video gets a lot of views initially and then settles down over a few months to a fairly steady number. So the older the video, the more accurate it is to divide the number of views by the number of years to estimate the current number of views per year.
-
That is indeed a very thankful song, Tim! I’m not familiar with Beth Hart, but the style here reminds me a bit of Carole King. I like it!
-
Actually this Aliyah is a professional wrestler, not the singer! I guess I don’t feel too bad then that I’m not familiar with any of them either.
-
Very cool, Tim! Interesting how many of these “thank you” songs are sung with rough, aggressive voices.
-
I’m gonna have to watch that movie, Jung! I’ve always loved the sentiment in the lyrics of this song, long before I was even aware of the context.

Thank You for the Music is a great one, Jacki. I don’t know if DJ’s still do dedications, but I’d love to call a local radio station and dedicate that one to MLT!
