When I first started listening to music from this era I noticed how many songs made reference to tears, and the ability of rain to hide them. Those connections are still alive and well in my head, and this is the first opportunity I’ve had to take advantage of this otherwise useless knowledge.
A Lover’s Concerto is a dangerous song. Sometimes I sing it to myself and never know when to stop, so I keep raising the key a half step with each verse, until after half an hour I’m ultrasonic.

I hope we haven’t dehydrated you completely, Diana. There are a lot of songs that can sympathize with the need for tears.
