the more i thought about your answer you didn’t specifically answer it but you did much better. you told me who you are and i found that much more satisfying an answer. you and your sister constantly impress me.

i thought to ask that question after listening to the cavern live cd. my unexpected favorite song on the cd is Kansas city. first because it is a good old rock and roll song but also it sounded like you were having a lot of fun playing it. i look forward to the video.
my other favorites were lazy Sunday and revolution. i like this version of revolution as opposed to the one on your earlier cd.
i am continually impressed by you and Mona and looked forward to your new music.
thanks

a good long answer to a short question.
the first part of your answer is the one i agree with. in this world people give too much respect to others that accumulate wealth and material things . that is not what is most important. what you and your sister do ‘ and others ‘ makes a positive difference in other peoples lives. you and Mona are about 40 years younger than me and live in different parts of the world but by listening to your music you have helped me to remember music i forgot about. it is fun hearing a younger persons take on the music i grew up with.
you mentioned Melonie in one of your interviews. it made me remember seeing her in about 1970 in asbury park n.j.. she played so many encores she ran out of songs.
well anyway i was very impressed by your answer and look forward to your new music.

glad to hear you guys are aware of the raiders and will give gary lewis a listen. i mentioned them after listening to the cavern cd. i thought some of their songs would be a good fit to your live set if you ever do play live again.

that was the answer i expected . i have a few books about artists and the record industry, hence the reason for the question, and most tell of many compromises that had to be endured and many regrets.
a artist has a vision for their music and the last thing they want is some bean counter telling them to compromise their dreams.
i’m sure you know of the beatles early days. not letting ringo play, wanting them to play songs they did not want to and some one else owning their songs.
thank you for responding.

lisa.
very impressive. i thought emmit rhodes was my secret. your right about sounding like paul mccartney. being older i bought his album when it was originally released and that was what they said on the radio back then that they thought it was actually mccartney using a different name. well i am glad you appreciate him as much as i do and i will try to find another way to stump you. so far i am 0 for 2.

lisa . makes sense. let me rephrase the question. on one of your future recordings maybe the m.l.t. team will consider showcasing mona’s drumming on a appropriate song that lends itself to a performance video. thanks in advance and looking forward to new songs.
