Mona, you are an intelligent and creative writer whether it’s a song or a paragraph!

Beautiful, Jacki!

Funny, Steve!
Jacki, just get a basic set of drums and some headphones and play along with the MonaLisa-Twins music!
Michael, I am still learning. I am learning things now that I wish I could have learned years ago. But, I got married to my first wife when I was 19. We divorced when I was 26. Then I went back to school and got a BBA and MBA, so there just wasn’t any time for music.
I was / still am planning to make music my retirement hobby. I got sick in December of 2008 and retired in June 2009.
You would think I could have come a long way by now, but being sick has been a hurdle. Lisa and Mona have helped me so much with life and music. They have been a motivation and influence I can’t explain. I love them, Rudi and Michaela like family.
I also love the friends I have met through them!

Jacki, you are awesome! Merry Christmas to you! ????

Hi Michael,
I think I have figured out “In. It For Love” and although I don’t think I really have “Still a Friend of Mine” some of it sounds right.
No piano, though, I just play chords with some little runs. Never had the opportunity to take lessons.
Keep Rocking and, as the Twins would say: Stay Groovy ☺

Thanks, Tom and Howard! ☺
Howard, I hope you are right. I totally agree!

Jung Roe you stated it more eloquently than I! Well said, my friend. They really are tight in both videos. I love both videos. Wonder if they would consider an unplugged, acoustic, DVD, of some of their originals? I know I would certainly buy it, but don’t know if there is enough interest in something like that. Just awesome watching them in those two anyway. Very talented young ladies.

Member20/12/2018 at 16:11 in reply to: A Memory Test. Your First Record PurchaseThanks, Bob. Yeah, Chubby milked it for all it was worth. Good guy, from what I remember of people talking about him, though. He was born in a little town in South Carolina not too far from where I grew up. Probably why I bought his record.
A better known South Carolinian, of course, is the King of Soul: James Brown. Loved his music, too. Talk about dancing! I remember how he could glide across the stage on one foot. Michael Jackson said he used to watch James Brown and learned some of his moves from James.
I was like you. Couldn’t dance. Except a beautiful little girl named Iris taught me how to Square Dance. Country fun… 🙂
