’Count On Me’ is another great MLT original Jacki! I wonder what they could make of a video of that one. I can already picture Lisa in a darkened room, lit only by flickering candle light.

Yes, definitely beautiful music from Enya there Jung. It didn’t all happen in the sixties and seventies. It just seems that more recently we need to be more selective. The Internet has certainly made it easier to track down good music. A good find.
Just quietly, the nineties (at least up to ’95), were seen as an extension of the second British Invasion that commenced around 1979. The nineties included the Britpop movement with groups like the Spice Girls, Oasis, Blur and the Verve.

Yes Jacki, the editing process is timed. An Edit button appears beside the Reply button, but this disappears after the originator is given a reasonable amount of time to change/delete anything. Once that time period is complete, the Edit function, and button disappear.

And how could I possibly forget this number from Australia’s Zoot.
Zoot – “One Times, Two Times, Three Times, Four”. Yes, it was the Bubble Gum era.

Jung, I have also considered a Jack Russel or a Fox Terrier as I live in a flat and they are the perfect size for me. I have a friend who has a Fox Terrier that is very excitable and very friendly, however, he has never been trained so can’t be left inside, unlike my cat Luca.
I also looked after a Fox Terrier for three weeks last December and she was more my age and also had my arthritis so she was much more my pace. A very beautiful dog that was excellent company. She just required a couple of short walks a day to do her business, but also had a yard to play in. A young Jack Russel or Fox Terrier might just have a bit too much energy for me these days!

I can’t remember Jung’s poem about ‘Time’, maybe he could remind us!
However, here is another Australian performer I remember well from a couple of years earlier.

Hi Jung. This Topic was covered over a year ago under the heading – It’s About Time!
I remember thinking hard on the number of “times“ this word and theme had been used in songs as I was using it as a possible motivation for Mona and Lisa while they were writing songs for their next album of originals. Members may be surprised with just how many songs have the name in their title or as the main them.
I recommend Members refer to the Topic for further details.

Well put Mike. I feel the same dichotomy, if that’s the correct expression when it comes to videos of MLT originals. Some of them are ones I saw the YouTube videos of before hearing the album versions, so am quite okay with them.
Videos like “The Wide, Wide, Land”, “I don’t Know Birds”, “Dreams”, “That’s Life”, “All About Falling In Love” “June”, “Once Upon A Time”, “Won’t You Listen Now” and “One More Time”, among others, well all of them actually, fall into that category for me. As well as being fabulous song writers, the MLT are also excellent interpreters of those songs by video.
When it comes to songs like “Sweet Lorraine” though, where I already have my own visual narrative, I believe they are best left to our imaginations! Having said that, of course I expect that the MLT could do wondrous things with a full blown video version of this song that I’m sure I’d thoroughly enjoy. Personally though, I’d be quite happy with a simple Duo Session interpretation.

For all those budding guitar nerds out there, and I know there are many in MLT Clubland!
Now I’m sure you can do just as well as this dude.

Nice pick there Thomas and a great video with the CCR boys looking on from the wings. I remember this song well from the early seventies. It was a popular selection from the local radio stations in my country.

It seems that MLT Club members have difficulty in making a choice, so in the end, it just may come down to the Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley option used to decide who would sing solo on “Unchained Melody“. The toss of a coin. Whichever way the coin falls, I believe we would be a winner!

That looks just so cool and refreshing Jacki!

Welcome to the best club on the planet Tom. I too don’t have a musical bone in my body, but I do enjoy listening to good music and it doesn’t come better than the MLT.
I have many MLT favourites and many of them are originals. It was initially their ’Bus Stop’ and ’You’re Going to Lose That Girl’ cover videos that got me hooked.

Well Papa Rudi suggested John “better go home son and make up your mind”. However, the very wise John doesn’t let us know his decision!
