Nice T-shirt Michael. I have one that looks the same – strange! Don’t have a beautiful guitar like yours though. It would be wasted on me. There’s nothing wrong with playing live to yourself. Music soothes the soul!

Well Jung, I agree, it would be difficult to convince your wife to attend a Stones concert. I think maybe you are better off, like me, saving up all your pennies for a future MLT concert in Europe or the UK one day. Now that would be special. Imagine all those MLT fans from around the world meeting up in the one place.

I avoid the big stadium concerts these days. I think I must be getting old! Well I am getting old. I much prefer the smaller, more intimate club type venues. That’s why seeing the MLT at the Cavern Club would be so good.

And yes Jacki, affordability is a big issue for some of us financially challenged members here like us. That’s why we need to spend our money wisely, like on all the awesome MLT music and merchandise, and I hope, a live concert one day. ?❤️

Well Lisa, I’m just so glad you and Mona had the courage at the tender age of thirteen to follow your dreams and give it your best shot. We are also very fortunate you had your awesome papa and Michaela who believed in you and have supported you all the way in your awesome journey!

Sounds good John, but as they advised, they’ve already mapped out their program for the year, and releasing video from their last Cavern Club concert on a regular basis is a special treat for members of the MLT Club. Just another good reason for being a member.

However, your suggestion sounds like an excellent way to market their brand and perhaps when they have completed their project for the Club, streaming the whole concert to the world via pay per view would be a viable way of gaining an income stream, while getting their name in the public eye. They wouldn’t need to charge too much I guess.

As an alternative, it has been suggested that they do a concert which could be filmed and streamed live via pay per view. That way we could all get to watch it all over the world at the same time. A bit like the Beatles recording of ”All You Need is Love”, in 1967.

”The song was Britain’s contribution to Our World, the first live global television link, for which the band were filmed performing it at EMI Studios in London on 25 June. The programme was broadcast via satellite and seen by an audience of over 400 million in 25 countries.”

Come to think of it, that would make a lovely MonaLisa Twins cover! Would be a big challenge for Rudolph with all that brass and such a big choir.

Well Paul, if I could put my two bobs worth in here I’d suggest that Mona and Lisa learnt English as a second language at school like most Europeans do.  They also spent six months in Adelaide, Australia in 2009 on a school exchange for the express purpose of improving their English. There has been much discussion about their time here in the Forum.

Interesting article David. Regarding your dream however, you must have realised you were dreaming if Mona and Lisa were speaking perfect American English. Surely they would only do this in one of their drama classes or a comedy sketch perhaps!

Good question Michael and interesting answer Lisa. One wonders how multilingual people get on but I guess your answer is logical. Whatever language you are using the most during the day. Funny, all my dreams are in English, except those occasions when my Australian strine kicks in!

Now Jacki, we are kindred spirits. I too dream often but have trouble remembering them once I awake. A long time ago I had bad nightmares regularly too. That was hell! I have also experienced the pleasure of Astral traveling, but not for some time. Sometimes I wish my dreams could be recorded as they’d make fantastic movies.

As for Mona, I’m sure she could weave a Klammhatsche into a song if she really wanted to! Imagine what the video would be like. I wonder if Lisa has similar strange dreams too?

Mona, that is so funny. By the way, I think I’ve just discovered an excellent potential name for your next originals album – “Kraftwerk Orange”. Can’t say it came to me in a dream, just heard it in a repeat episode of “The Mighty Boosh’.

R.E.M ”It’s the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)”, is another one that came through a dream.

Good question Tomás. Have you ever had music or lyrics come to you in a dream?

Wow Lisa! I can’t possibly believe you could get a bad “general conduct grade”, ever! Impossible! I don’t know that geography teacher, but I don’t like her either. She obviously didn’t have a sense of humour.

Hi Louis, I addressed this issue in another post too, as follows:

”The issue of the MLT touring the States was a hot topic discussed in the Forum early in the formation of the club. The logistics involved for a small (cottage industry) family business to pull off such a tour, and still keep the day to day running of the business viable, became obvious to all.

They don’t have the backing of big record companies with their capital, marketing departments, touring managers and infrastructure etcetera in place to do this. I think they could only manage such an operation with the assistance and support of their many fans organising something in their local area that was viable. Don’t forget, their fan base is widely distributed throughout the world, and not concentrated in any one specific area.

The only other option I can suggest, is for Mona and Lisa helping to expand the business by maybe creating some awesome new twins of their own. Now how good would that be. However, the Twins would obviously have their own views on the viability of that option. Just suggesting!

When I get the time, I’ll try and dig up the previous debate on this subject. You can always use the “Search” function in the Forum.”

Wow Jacki! That mind of yours seems to be in overdrive. No need for a drivers licence the way you burn the rubber soul!
