Mona and Lisa may not know birds that well, but I think they could come to grips with this one.

Okay, this one may not be Dylan, but it is so Dylanesque that I think it deserves a place here.
Pretty Thing (You’re Out Of Sight) Tommy Boyce
As for the line “I want to lock you up, tonight”, well what can you say? Poetic licence perhaps!

At what point is the add? At over 2.5 hours, the video is much too long to watch.

The pet minding is going well Jung. The rescue pup kept his distance for a couple of days but now is quite comfortable with me and comes up for a pat regularly. Last night I had two little fluffy dogs sleeping on my bed and by the morning, Flossy the cat had joined them and the large pup was sleeping under the bed.
The cat and dogs all have their own meal requirements but one of them doesn’t deal well with fatty food and could have the runs all night (no good if sleeping on my bed), so I stick to their programs (no cheese).
They are very well behaved and don’t need any motivation. If I’m out during the day I leave the two little dogs indoors and the pup in the courtyard ((likes to chew things) and the cat is a cat and does her cat thing, which is usually sleeping all day.
I don’t really need to motivate them since they’ve become comfortable with me. It is their home and they have trained me well regarding their needs and expectations. They look forward to their morning and evening walks in the bush. The pup recently discovered the dam and how much fun you can have in water.
All in all, we enjoy each other’s company. Here’s a photo of them.

“What was Capitol thinking??? “
Capitol was thinking of capitalism Mike. They knew they had a fan base that would buy anything from their favourite groups and so more albums released (by having fewer songs on each), meant more sales and more money. It was all about the money. London Records did the same with the Rolling Stones albums that were released by Decca in Europe. North America was ripped off by record companies in the sixties.
Fortunately for us in Australia, we received the Parlophone and Decca versions. The American versions weren’t available until the seventies.
Consequently, Stones albums like “December’s Children” and “Flowers” were bit of a novelty when discovered here. From memory, “Flowers” included tracks from “Between The Buttons” plus the double sided single “Ruby Tuesday” and “Let’s Spend the Night Together”, plus a couple of other tracks.
Fortunately for us, we know what we are going to get from The MLT no matter where we live. Quality albums with 11 tracks, no filler and the same track listing on each. Just like their Christmas album that I’m sure is waiting for me when I return home in mid November.

Well Tomás, I’ll certainly be looking forward to seeing your young niece rocking Australia’s stages soon too. Hopefully, the MonaLisa Twins will join her! Mona might have to take a back seat on the drums though. Perhaps you could get Luli‘s younger sister to switch to the bass!
Now how awesome would that be for an all girl group!

Well done David. I’m usually the pedantic one that picks up typos. Good job picking up that video anomaly. And thanks for sharing the ‘Police Squad’ video. Leslie Nielsen was a very funny man, especially as Frank Drebin in the ‘Naked Gun’ series.

Welcome to the Club Ian. You are in good company here. Most of us found the MLT the same way! Not only do they have great voices and harmonies, they are great musicians and composers too. They are also good actors and comedians but I have to say, just passable dancers!

After sleeping over night at my Bilpin accommodation, my Moto Guzzi Club mates have continued with their journey to Phillip Island (over another 1,000 km away), while I remain at my Bilpin house sit minding three dogs and a cat while their owner trips around India for the next three weeks. The Moto GP is a big deal and includes a Ball and the Barry Sheene Tribute Ride. This is a ride of 266 km under police escort from Bairnsdale to Phillip Island and finishes with a circuit of the Grand Prix Circuit.
“The 2019 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season is the 71st F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season.
After fifteen rounds of the championship, Marc Márquez successfully defended his Rider’s Championship taking his sixth premier class title, having won ten races. Last season’s championship runner-up Andrea Dovizioso is in second for Ducati with two wins and Álex Rins on a Suzuki is in third with two wins. Danilo Petrucci and Maverick Viñales with one win are the other race winners, both Rins and Petrucci winning their first races during the season. Márquez secured the Rider’s title after winning the Thailand Grand Prix. In spite of Márquez’ sizeable championship margin, six races, namely Qatar, Italy, Austria, Britain, San Marino and Thailand were decided with last-lap passes, the season having plenty of close racing.”

We were joined by another Moto Guzzi Club mate who left his home in Imbil Queensland and travelled more than eleven hundred kilometres on his special edition, 90th anniversary Moto Guzzi California (limited edition with only seven imported into Australia). He joined us at the Kurrajong Heights Hotel after travelling all day!

I’m currently staying in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales where wifi has many black spots. During the trip from Brisbane we encountered many bikes on their annual pilgrimage to Phillip Island for the Australian Moto GP. Thousands of bikers camp there for the three day event. A Moto Guzzi Club mate was traveling with me to Bilpin in the Blue Mountains on his way to his thirteenth annual Phillip Island Moto GP event.
On our way to a cafe stop in the mountains my mate took on a GT Falcon that had overtaken us at one point. He also had a duel with a beautiful matt black Indian motorcycle at one stage. I let them go ahead on the many tight twisties on the mountain road!
My black MG California is on the left and his red MG Eldorado is on the right.

“can envision you getting off the plane and waving to your screaming crowd of fans At least that’s the way it ought to be anyway. The world deserves as much of the MLT Magic as it can get. Imagine.”
I agree totally John. In a perfect world that’s how it would be and we wouldn’t have to dream!

I’m with Paul there Jung. All you need is love! It certainly fits in well with the MLT philosophy on life!

Some of our American friends may not be familiar with the BBC2 Program, “Not the Nine O’Clock News”, which was a British television sketch comedy broadcast on BBC2 from 1979 to 1982. Originally shown as a comedy alternative to the Nine O’Clock News on BBC1, it featured satirical sketches on current news stories and popular culture, as well as parody songs, comedy sketches, re-edited videos, and spoof television formats. The programme featured Rowan Atkinson, Pamela Stephenson, Mel Smith, and Griff Rhys Jones, as well as Chris Langham in the first series.
Rowan Atkinson went on to further fame with his “Black Adder” series while Mel Smith, and Griff Rhys Jones had success with “Alas Smith and Jones.”
