I have just noticed that it is images that are restricted to one per post, not videos. Please ignore my initial post.

It’s predominantly a music club Jung but we all have other interests, including cars and bikes. It would be interesting to see how many members would like to share photos of their favourite wheels.

I didn’t mean to be critical. Sorry if I came across that way.

That’s a very nice find too, Jung. I think we also need to include the following song. I’m sure all MLT Club members know why it is so special!

Cat Stevens (Yusuf) –  Sad Lisa (Original)

Hi guys. I like your enthusiasm and your videos. Perhaps we need a new topic safe from this specific guitar world. “Muscle Cars” came to mind but that would tend to alienate motorcycle enthusiasts like myself. I’m not the only motorcyclist in the Club and I’m sure there would be other car enthusiasts.

We know those awesome Twins are into cars and they also have (or at least had bikes). It seems there’s nothing they wouldn’t try!

What do you think of a topic like “Petrolheads?” This would be more inclusive.

Well Jacki, I didn’t realise there was a Susan Jacks but Terry could certainly qualify as a one hit wonder. I remember his hit well!

Didn’t miss your post Jacki. I included it as I remembered it from a much earlier topic. I had a copy of a Sam The Sham single in the sixties and if I find a YouTube video, I will post it in an appropriate topic.

    Nice one Jacki. LOL!

    Don’t remember hearing it before.

“I’m Not Lisa” was written by Colter and describes the pain that comes with dating someone who has not gotten over a previous lover. Specifically, the song is about a woman named Julie who laments the fact that her boyfriend keeps mentioning his previous girlfriend, named Lisa.”

“I’m not Lisa, my name is Mona

    Lisa left you years ago

    My eyes are not blue

    But mine won’t leave you

She left you here drowning in your tears, here

    Where you’ve stayed for years

    Crying Lisa, Lisa

I’m not Lisa, my name is Mona

    Lisa left you years ago

    My eyes are not blue

    But mine won’t leave you

‘Til the sunlight shines through your face”

Mona and Lisa do a great live version of the Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth”. Wouldn’t it be nice (no, not the Beach Boys), if they could include this medley in future live shows!

While on the Dylan theme, another great cover.

Outlaw Blues – Queens of The Stone Age (Bob Dylan cover)

Dylan’s fuzzy 12-bar blues track – from album ‘Bringing It All Back Home’ – had a Desert Session makeover. The results were blistering.

Not directly from the seventies, but this movie includes Dylan’s seventies career.

“I’m Not There is a 2007 musical drama film directed by Todd Haynes and co-written with Oren Moverman. It is an unconventional biopic Inspired by the life and music of American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. Six actors depict different facets of Dylan’s public personas: Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Marcus Carl Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger (his final film to be released during his lifetime), and Ben Whishaw. A caption at the start of the film declares it to be “inspired by the music and the many lives of Bob Dylan”; this is the only mention of Dylan in the film apart from song credits, and his only appearance in it is concert footage from 1966 shown during the film’s final moments.”
