I’ve finally purchased my new yellow ‘Mona’ Lamy pen to go with my red ‘Lisa’ Lamy pen. I now have the full set!

I tend to think maybe Lisa and Mona are serenading themselves over dinner with the Quiche Lorraine version of their song, rather than the food version!
-
Been very busy so haven’t had a chance to practice with my Lamy yet. I’ll get around to it eventually. The shop I bought it from are currently offering a 30% discount so I’ll have to get back there to pick up my ‘Mona’ Lamy.
Regarding Lisa and Mona’s eloquence, I find it impossible to find fault with them in anything. Hard to believe they’re human like us really. I’m sure they must be aliens from a far more advanced planet than ours.

Yes David, same issue for me. All working except Orange which seems to have got stuck!

Thanks for keeping those lovely poems flowing Jacki!

Very beautiful Jacki. Thank you for sharing these photos, especially the one of the purple beauty in the middle!

Good effort Jacki and Jung. I consider myself to be a grammar correction perfectionist too Jung, but unlike you, I’m not so expert on the tech, so I tend to check my comments very carefully before posting, so I don’t have to use the edit function. If you do find any clangers from me though, I don’t mind you calling me out.
I try to pick up grammar/spelling/typos that I find anywhere in the Club but have only been able to find three or four very minor typos since the Club went live, due to the usual perfectionism of the MLT team. For a family for whom English is a second language, their grammar, spelling and English comprehension is extremely impressive.

Wow Jung! Wouldn’t it be nice to be one of Mona’s plants. All that tender loving care. I wouldn’t be surprised if she sings and plays to them too. In a previous apartment of mine, I had two lovely plants beside my very large stereo speaker boxes and those two plants absolutely thrived on just fresh air and music alone! Actually, I did water them too!
I’m no Mona or Lisa artist, but my green thumb tip (for indoor plants) would be a little but regular watering, plenty of clean, fresh air, a little filtered sunlight, some seasonal fertiliser and lots of groovy music. My plants thrived on classical music in particular.

Lucky you have such a wise father Lisa. Just think, you could have ended up a ‘Mona”!
-
I’d love to hear the Twins do a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ in the Turtles’ style!
-
Well done again Dave and let’s also hear it for the brilliant “Weird Al” Yankovic!
-
And I recommend you don’t entertain the idea of recording their “The Leaving Of Liverpool”.

How about “Morningtown Ride” (an opportunity for banjo, or Lisa’s ukulele at least) or “I’ll Never Find Another You” (an opportunity for your 12 string acoustic) There’s a good joke about that one but I don’t think I can share it here. Bruce Woodley was extremely upset when Judith Durham broke up the band to go solo. They were about to sign their second contract which would have been a huge pay day for them.
An interesting look at a sixties recording studio in the link.

Oh dear! You know, Mona, you’ve now got me wanting to hear the longer version of those two songs, “Close To You” and “That’s Life”!

Unfortunately I can’t download Audacity as it isn’t supported on MacOS.
