Well Jung, we did sort of get to see the Twins duelling with drums in that school marching band from 2010! There’s also quite an obscure earlier one where they are using their desks as percussion instruments in what looks like another school concert with two young lads. Worth a look if you can find it. Quite funny really!

I see. It was strange as when you hovered over the link to Lisa’s reply, one line appeared (shaded), with Daniel’s name and the start of Lisa’s answer. That’s how I knew it was a question from Daniel. Only reported it because I had never seen this before

This issue seemed to resolve itself a day or so later. Initially however, when clicking on Lisa’s answer under ‘Recent Replies’, a page came up with the message “Error 4 – Page not found”. This happened several times.

    Cheers

As it was over three weeks ago I can’t exactly remember. However, it seems to have been related to cache and Safari issues which I resolved after advice from Tomás.

Well Stephen, you are not alone in wanting to see more video of Mona playing the drums. They did at least treat us to that video of both of them in their school drum ensemble, doing their thing at a school concert (about 2010, I believe) and we do have that memorable performance of Mona taking the lead on “Twist and Shout’ from behind her drums in their 2007 Austrian concert.

Then of course we also have that beautiful photo of Mona beaming as only she can, from behind her drum kit during a very early drum lesson when I think she was about nine years old.

I think if we ask Michaela very nicely, she just may be able to persuade the Twins to release more of their drum work from the archives. She seems to have a good sense of what Club members find interesting!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here George. I can’t remember previously hearing ‘Cockamamie Business’ by George Harrison, but have now looked at a Youtube video of this. Very interesting lyrics and I can see why you are interested in the base lines.

Thanks for sharing that Tomás. People like me don’t understand how much is involved with these servers. We are very fortunate the MLT family provide us not just with the best value club for money out there, but they also respect and look after the interests of the members. Any issue is readily sorted out and the club experience continues to grow in a very positive way.

Hi Rick from Georgia. Nice to have you on board. You will find many excellent club members here who share your reasons for joining the club. Many are musicians like yourself while some, like me, are not, but we do appreciate the same sixties style music.

I like your story about ‘Jennifer Jupiter’. I think you meant ‘Jennifer Juniper’ though. I thought you were going to advise that your mother planned to name your younger sibling ‘Juniper’. I have a niece named Juniper, she’s around 21 years old now.

Amazing that you got to see Herman’s Hermits live at the age of eight. I still remember hearing their ‘There’s a Kind of Hush’ on the radio for the first time in 1967.

No longer happening with me. Must have been my cache and Safari issues. Thank you Tomás.
