Yup… Definitely luv Cass singing it with Mamas and Papas version better… And I can visualize in my mind MLT’s possible take on it, if they one day decide to tackle…. I am a fan of Mama’s and Papa’s and of solo stuff from Cass and Denny, also Cass’ collaboration with Dave Mason… That’s a great CD… Denny’s 2nd solo album to which Cass had written the linear notes for happened to be her last recording efforts, but also had Michelle on backup singing duties too, kind of like a mini-M&P’s reunion of sorts…I own that too, and Cass’ solo stuff on CD… I do own Mama’s & Papa’s stuff too, and John Phillips last solo recording CD… Not overly impressed with that but I have it. ??

My music class in middle school was not a pleasant experience (Grades 7/8), as I had tried to learn trumpet, the music teacher was not impressed with my efforts, basically thought me of being stupi1d and will never amount musically in any aspect, what a nice encouraging attitude to have towards a student… I got taken out of that class.. (Side note… He’s now retired from being a school music teacher but conducts in a community choir /music chorus band, which I see concert of every Christmas season)… I have happier memories in elementary school in those music class hours…. Sung songs from a music songbook for school kids, my kindergarten teacher played an autoharp like John Sebastian does, another music teacher played guitar one year in another grade, etc… I probably had a chance to fiddle around with a cowbell back then in elementary school… Now I jyst enjoy playing around on my percussion type instruments, my portable wee keyboard, tambourine, harmonica and purple uke… ?

Hi again Bob,… Lol… Perhaps we are Kindred HandWriter Spirits…
Not quite sure now as to what you meant by /in reference to specifically asking me about “Art Form”, in your reply to me…. I was meaning more in aspect of penmanship in general, to be reintroduced to being taught in schools, etc, included in artwork, etc.
I actually have an somewhat interesting back story on my own handwriting journey… I’ll give the “Reader’s Digest” version here:
In Kindergarten back in the day, my hand/eye co-ordination was never quite on oar with other kids in class, I was always smallest in my classes except one year… (Being born full term at 3 pounds/3 ounces-survived) I’m sure have had some reasons for some of my health issues and hand/eye coordination issues too). I started wearing glasses at 6 yrs old. Anyways.., always had trouble to print the capital “K” as was shown on paper /blackboard, etc. I saw it but just could not for life of me duplicate what I saw… Thus fast fwd to learning penmanship…. A disaster in the making for many school yrs and played part in having to repeat a year – – Grade 7 and thus in 2nd round of Grade 7, had to do for a few months about half hiur/hr before school started be in a Penmanship Workshop class, and it helped somewhat… Until the age of internet/smartphones… Kinda gone back to my sloppy disastrous penmanship ways… But still write out things by hand because, I enjoy handwritten ways, just got to pay a little more attn and time to maintain my degree of legible handwriting as I achieved during those Penmanship workshops quality in my school years. ??️✒️✏️?️?
