I would love for MLT to tackle, Buddy Holly stuff, solo Cass Elliot stuff, stuff from the Dave Mason & Cass Elliot collaboration album… I can visualize and hear MLT doing song selections from whom I mentioned here. I will say, Cass on her own, yes, her song style was indeed a departure from Mama’s & Papa’s stuff but yet so versatile to blend with whomever else whether as a duet collaborative sense, as backing vocals (she and Michelle did do backing vocals on Denny Doherty’s 2nd solo album “Waiting For A Song” as well as writing the linear notes too on that album of Denny’s… That was the closest/final kind of original M&P reunion of sorts that they ever would have singing wise
Also on the Dave & Cass album, Cass’ younger sister Leah Kunkel also helped out on backing vocals… I own the Denny CD and Dave & Cass one as well as if not all of Cass’ solo stuff and of course the M&P stuff… I just got thinking about MLT possibility of trying to tackle whom all I mentioned here in Cover Requests… My mind is always in Music Motion… Lol

If we’d did that growing up here in Canada… Our smoke detectors (when they first came out late 70s-mid 80s circa)… Would of had a heyday going off, the dogs would of been scared and knock down tree, thus a fire…. We just used Xmas tree lights… But perhaps back in my late parent’s day as children and the generations before, perhaps more common to use candles…. ??️

As I’ve already stated my own ideas of whom the best guitarists are according to my own preferences /of said opinion…
I’d like to say that I think it’s a matter of individualism of guitarist musical taste preferences… To each one’s own, really… Not what RS Mag considers, or any other publications, etc… What matters is what One/Yourself considers to be, not to be influenced, dictated to upon from a source, etc.
If a particular guitarist enthralls, moves, speaks your kinda guitar language, well by all means, that’s what tea flows outta the guitar teapot and you can suit your taste there afterwards… Just a thought of 2 cents worth from me??

I echo both of your sentiments and agree wholeheartedly ?

Member15/12/2019 at 02:49 in reply to: What was a typical Halloween like in the Wagner household when you were kids?Yep, in Canada, the costume ideas were varied from scary, to funny, in between… Mind you the stupid plastic masks we had with some costumes, back in my childhood days, 1970s, should of deemed health /safety hazzards, you couldn’t hardly breath properly through the tiny hole for mouth area and as for eye holes,, practically couldn’t see out of them, and I tripped a few times going trick or treating with friends in their neighborhoods, as where I lived, there were hardly any houses around so I had to go to friends’ neighborhoods or my parents drove to neighborhoods with whom they had friends they knew lived in…. For my Halloween needs…
I was terrified as a child of scene from Disney classic cartoon movie, Legends of Slerpy Hallow, where the flaming jack o lantern is thrown by headless horseman… Of course living across 3 cemeteries to which one containing remains of ancestors/family members was kind of creepy come Halloween… ???
