I have tackled  4 times publicly  to sing, “I Saw Her Standing There” – – first time at a family Bday Bash that featured karaoke  time, the other 3 times at  3 different open mic jams, accompanied by some one on guitar and during one of those times I sang at open mic, I had a guy on his keyboard rocking it  in accompanying me and guitar player… It sounded awesome… I’m not the best singer but I can sing somewhat decent… Thank my parents for that genetic gene !!

Thankyou Lisa for replying … Indeed… And quite right in how it morphed into a life of its own…. And  John S’s magic touch on the song and guesting in the video, was a bonus…It has that eerie mystique to it, just draws you into it… Sounds so perfect when cranked to comfortable ear listening tolerance of decibels!!!!

Well… If ever I won the lottery, you can be damn sure I’d be getting a customized Purple Harley D…. With Fuschia Pink decor accents in perhaps forms of roses and music notes and treble clefs……. Same idea for a car…. I’d just drive around on my huge estate complete with an authentic schoolhouse I would have purchased and had moved to my estate where it would be my creative hub place to enjoy all creative things I enjoy dabbling in…. Yes, I ‘m a Harley Gal… Vrrroooommm Rev it Up…. I may not like riding motorcycles after that bad incident but that never stopped me from living and enjoying those Harleys…..

Well Skip… I had been thinking of that idea too for awhile in my head and was going to suggest at some point… Ya beat me too it… It would be great but the time differences might be a tad tricky to chat with some… Canada is 5-6hrs behind the UK… Lol… Jung is 3 hrs behind me out on West Coast… Lol… Perhaps at some point this suggestion may/may not happen. I think I recall seeing it mentioned/discussed before somewheres on here  about the possibility members being able to contact/chat with other members via using  some sort of function where other members could communicate with one another….

Maybe if it was feasible  to do so, perhaps add a “Contact” feature on our Profiles page and then that way if someone would like to contact that person direct they could (of course email not made public) or having the PM option  feature added on Profiles page  if one is not comfortable with email contact but is more comfortable with PMing method… This was an afterthought to my original posting here.  It’s an idea but up to Team MLT to decide to implement or not.

Besides MLT, I enjoy Glass Tiger, Patsy Cline, Reba, Vince Gill, Le Meow, April Verch, Beatles, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Mamas and Papas, Cass Elliot(solo work and with Dave Mason) , Denny Doherty(solo stuff) , Amy Winehouse, Elvis, The Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, And many more… I grew up in household of bluegrass, country, gospel, rock n roll, big and, jazz southern rock music tastes from my family…. Lol… So I like a variety, I’m not quite keen on classical, hiphop/rap, heavy metal, punk, etc though….

Lol… I kinda recall seeing on TV that SNL sketch…

I’m curious though what it is exactly that calls for certain videos to be banned/unavailable in other countries?!… Is it a cooyright/content-questionable/combo of sorts?!

I’ve had that issue in trying to watch videos from other countries, though I’m in Canada, and even have had issues not being able to download the BBC players or whatever player platform to access audio/radio stns, etc due to either incompatibility issues for my devices to just not available for outside UK and/or other countries if I was trying to download from elsewheres outside UK but still in Europe or even abroad but not affected by USA…. It just fascinates me… But then again, not all devices whether Android/Apple or whatever makes are inter-universal compatible for players/apps, etc…. Lol

Though I was only a kid in the 70s, 80s were my teen years… Etc…
Yes I will agree that the 70s was definitely a montage of music varieties, though I was not a huge fan of Disco, if I liked the rhythm of it and could dance, then I liked it… Lol… As for fashion sense, decor, colours of the 70s… Not a fan much… Lol… Especially the tacky greens, browns, oranges, yellows, etc…. Hated wide pants(“floods” as they were deemed here) and bell bottoms,… Platform shoes, etc… I prefer the Groovy 60s Vibes better and before then…..
