Lol… Perhaps Mona could tackle this one “I’m Not Lisa” by Jessi Colter (Waylon Jennings wife) but in the song, change the Julie part to Mona…. Lol

Hi Dana: Being a Canadian myself, you’ve made me think of other Canadian perhaps one hit wonders of the past: Terry & Susan Jacks, The Raes, and I’m sure there’s others and yes, I do recall hearing this song on the radio… I was a wee youngster around the time…. Lol

Lol Howard, I had already mentioned this particular song in my reply to this posting, guess you missed it…lol or else, we’re all on the same MLTBuzzing Thinking line…..

I never really got into watching Taxi as a kid in the 70s…thiygh I do recall Danny Devito, Tony Danza and Andy Kaufman in it… Was it Andy that died?!… Don’t recall seeing this episode mentioned…. We never had cable TV until I was in my late teens-early 20s…. Lol… So I only watched stuff on what few channels we had and after finally getting cable… I don’t recall all that I watched, some stuff I remember, other stuff not…. Lol

I know yer gonna think me crazy but I’m just not fond of Neil Young’s voice for singing, his nasally high pitchy kinda whiny off tune /key style music vocals just annoys me that I can’t handle listening to his music, always been like that with his stuff… Yes, his songs are good, he plays guitar and harmonica well, I just can’t handle that singing voice of his to listen to, cringe worthy to me but yes in agreement to MLT doing covers of his songs, I’d welcome their voices on his songs… Just not his… Lol, Sorry to say, even though he’s Canadian born, and I like some Canadian music but not all, he’s one that I could never tolerate listening too….

Another song for years I had misheard lyrics upon were from Paul Simon’s Koda chrome?! song, but given my slight ear deafness, it’s understandable for me to mishear lyrics… It’s usually both the tune /instrumentation and lyrics of a song that catches my attention for, as being a visual learner/person, if I can easily imagine what’s being sung in my mind’s eye, then I know it’s a good song…

Well… For the 70s music scene, my music tastes varied in different genres…. I did enjoy country music and the singers/bands of country music, I liked Abba, Elton John, Three Dog Night, Bread, Mike MacDonald, Christopher Cross, Air Supply, Blondie, Joan Jett, Bay City Rollers, Steve Miller, Doobie Brothers, Carol King, James Taylor, Styx, Kansas, Linda Ronstandt, Boston, and others, was never into heavy duty metal hard rock or punk. Same kind thing applies to 80s stuff, as for 90s – now… I’m not into hip-hop/rap/punk/alternative /hard&metal core rock…Lol….

But for MLT Trifecta Covers, since it’s impossible to really narrow in on specifics, since I luv all equally, I’m going to go with 3 I listened to today that stands out for today only:
– You’re Gonna Lose That Girl
– The Night Before
-Time of the Season
Again it’s just impossible to exactly choose…. Lol

Yes Jung… Durannies was the term used and yes bit was the 80s version mania of the 60s Beatles mania… Lol…
As for GT’s “Diamond Sun”, it’s vibe is Aboriginal and it sounds far more fab done live, nothing whatsoever like the album version.
