and David you’re right, the only time we ever heard Michelle sing solo but she kinda does a solo talking/sing song off one of M & P’s albums and after group split, she did a solo album and Denny was able to get both Cass/Michelle to do backup vocals on his first or 2nd solo album just off the top of my head that I can recall ( Michelle was better at acting than singing…..Knot’s Landing )

The Balloon song…love that one…. ah, 1967, 2 yrs before I came into the world … um, well, I’m going to say perhaps Mamas and Papas, Dusty Springfield, had some stuff going on musically that year too….and a slewhold of many others….Indeed 1967… Musicwise…A year it was definitely ☮????????

Well, for me, I was exposed/influenced by what music my parents , older brothers enjoyed, albums, 8 track-cassette tapes that were played at home, radio stations that were set on at home..UntiI I reached my teen yrs in the 80s…lol… Then I became a Durannie , Glass Tiger fan ( I did meet GT back in 88/89, have known them personally since then, still keep in touch , try to go to Ottawa shows when they come, and have gone to few out of town shows they’ve done, but now, since discovering MLT about 15 yrs ago while in my 40s, now being 53, have added MLT to this “impact on me ” , list as well as with some others who have passed on musically that had an impact on me too , too many to mention all here, but trust me they have in their own ways … ????

The 80s were my Teen & Duran Duran years, mostly …lol.. got into Glass Tiger music in around 1986-87, saw both bands in concert, Duran2 had opened for Bowie on his Spider tour, nd GT round same time, maybe both were at the Ottawa Super Ex….lol….if memory kinda serves me…lol… but I did actually meet Glass Tiger in 1989 and they’ve known me since then ….lol….I get them all laughing, wound up….lol…

I own a Flashdance Album, a few 45s from that soundtrack/movie, I loved singing/dancing to it at the time ….lol….

Let’s see ..,1969…,Sugar-Sugar by The Archie’s and in 1988 …Orange Vrush, REM, ( I had to Google both up , as I had no clue…lol…) I would of technically graduated high school in 1987 , had I not repeated Grade 7 and I only went as as far as Grade 12 , had no desire to do Grade 13 …lol….????

Yes, I’ve been hoping for years for MLT to do “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”, lol, we’re all on same MLT Coveers Wishlist Radar, How #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified is that!?, okay 4 AMm , time for me to finally get to sleep, menopause has made have bouts of insomnia that I’m not used to, tied in with already low thyroid, don’t make for good combo….I was never quite a night owl to begin with, I’m more of a late morning-daytime to mid evening person so these bouts of insomnia messes me up, somhat sleep pattern wise/thyroid energy wise… Good Groovy Night/ Morning ….lol….
