I kinda grasp what you’re saying here David, lol, not fully but a glimmer of an ” Ah, Ok, I kinda get what he’s saying”…lol… explained in simpler terms with a visual reference , like a graph/chart would help me gain better understanding….But what I wanted to add to this, as it got me curious and wondering… the age of fans watching/discovering MLT videos and if that has perhaps any significance/lean/influence factor on the numbers you mention… from what I noticed amongst membership here, and outside MLT Club, MLT fans in general, for the most part range in the 50+ yrs of age age bracket, moreso leaning towards into the late 50s-70 age bracket, while there are some under 50 but it’s predominantly over 50 yrs of age bracket. I hope I may myself understood in my explanation, my apologies now if I’ve failed to do so and have you confused or misinterpreted my post because of how I tried to convey my thoughts. Not always good at making myself understood, that is what I was thinking to put into words. ????

Lol…still no real full clue as to whats being said in the MLTSongViewEquation but if it means so many folks are looking, listening in on them, that’s the most important factor… The factor, being they’re tuning in, not how many but the fact they’re tuning in, that is what makes and matters to me… lol… but carry on, I’ll just read with ongoing confusion somewhat and being entertained … ????????

For the record, I’ve always been and remain a Visual Learner/ Concrete Learner, thus probably why Math , related stuff I’ve never understood, always will struggle with, my brain just can’t grasp those concepts, not that I’m stupid, I jyst can’t honestly grasp any of that stuff, I cannot process it… I learn best by lots of detail in visual, concrete means, thus why I’m good at poetry, drawing, trying to pkay an instrument by ear and watching how it is done…etc… If I cannot visualize a concept, then pretty much all hope is lost with me…lol????

Sheryl Crowe stuff is awesome too, I like her stuff…

Hearing/seeing MLT’s take on this song, Oh I was brought back to my fond 70s childhood memories of me listening, dancing, singing along to the radio whenever ” Stuck In The Middle With You” came on… truly Team MLT have the inate sense and gift of knowing what songs to do… so stoked that they did this one and was happy to have it stuck in my head ????????

Thankyou Lisa for your reply ????????… what you said, makes musician’s sense ….!!!! Like me with my poems, I have some binders/ notebooks worth, some scraps of paper, napkins I’ve written poems on, etc… my phone, tablet… but along the way due to computer/tablet/phone issues or not having something handy to write down the poem as it was on my mind, I’ve lost a few potential poems.. but I keep on writing anyways and try to remember to save if online, or keep a wee notebook in my knapsack…

  • Well, Thanks in oart to my 2nd older bro, a guitar enthusiast, he likes to jam from time to time with buddies, I grew up exposed and enjoyed the likes of Stevie Ray Vaugh, David Wilcox, BB King, Eddie Van Halen, Heart, Kiss, Jeff Heakey, Lucas Haneman, ( both Jeff and Lucas was/is blind)many Blues guitarists, that’s my 2nd oldest bro’s fave genre to listen to, while my oldest bro, is the Country music enthusiastic moreso, and I’m the oddball of liking an eclectic mix of stuff….????

  • Whichever song reaches a Million, that’s the Best… There’s a few members who are scorekeepers in this dept, and I appreciate all their time in doing so.. what would be an absolute phenomenal epic milestone however and quite doable, have All MLT songs, their covers and originals, live/studio/Duo Sessions reach that Magic Million Milestone, and so far, this is a possible realization and could occur… Keep Onwards with the #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified Go Get Ems… Let’s make that ambition a reality…!!

  • It’s moreover a matter of having this generation below ourselves and even younger generation down from millennial to produce the next wave of Guitar Heroes, Thankfully, MLT has refreshed that notion, got it started in right direction… now to gave other musicians in their age bracket and below to have keen interest in guitars to rev up the interest in how vital a guitar is in the creation of music.. Right now, the “New Country” scene, is still much in keeping with guitars in tge songs just have fusu0ions of rock, etc intertwining with it… Just my thoughts on this.

Well, this is an interesting thread Jung, it’s going to be eclectic and diverse as we all have different music tastes outside of MLT …lol

I don’t want to go on and on as I’d love to , and list every nook and cranny from each decade but I’ll give a few songs/ bands/singers from that era, from each decade for me at least how I feel for today, it can change…

From before 1950s – Chattanooga ( BoogieWoogie Shoe Shine Boy, Anything by Glenn Miller , other big band eras, etc! Carter Family, etc

1950s ~ Blue Suede Shoes Elvis, Rock Around The Clock Bill Haley & Comets, etc Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Patsy Cline, etc

1960s~ Beatles, Dusty Springfiels, Mamas and Papas, All Motown, Cilla Black, The Seekers, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, etc

1970s ~ The Raes- Que Serra Serra cover, All BeeGees, Hot Chocolate, Sister Sledge, John Denver, Elton John, Pure Prairie League, Fleetwood Mac, Kansas, Boston, Styx, Traffic, CSN, etc, Guess Who, Air Supply, Susan & Terry Jacks , Carpenters, etc

1980s~ Glass Tiger, Duran Duran, Greatest American Hero TV show theme, Anne Murray, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Van Halen, Corey Hart, Heart, etc

1990s~ Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, LeAnn Rimes, Alan Jackson, Debbie Gibson, etc

2000-now ~ MonaLisaTwins, Amy Winehouse, Le Meow, Jason Miraz, The Fugees with Lauryn Hill, and etc…

In a nutshell really, I prefer stuff from before 2000 more so, and of course what I was exposed to growing up at home, predominantly country, rock n roll, bluegrass, motown, southern rock, gospel… BUT MLT happy discovery I made 14 yrs ago, made me have confidence that some younger folks can/do appreciate the older stuff…!!!! ????
